This store in understaffed to the point I worry about the employees. Rarely do I go in and there is more than one employee working in the entire store. How does this employee get a 15 minute break in their shift, or their required lunch break within their 8 hour shift?
Last week I waited 5 minutes at the register for the lone employee to return from using the restroom in order to check me out. A dishonest person could’ve easily just left with their goods and it wouldn’t have been the employees fault.
Today when I went in the checkout line was all the way back down an aisle to the center of the store. Why? Well, yet again there only one individual to man the entire store alone.
I’ve asked why they do t use the self checkout register, to aid in keeping lines moving or for the times the line store associate needs to go to the restroom. Apparently they’re not allowed to utilize the self checkout because Dollar General has states it’s causing theft issues. What about “theft issues” when your employee leaves the front unmanned to go potty?
Interesting that Dollar General cares about the potential loss of a few items but not the welfare of their employees. No worry about giving employees coverage so they can take a break required by law, or to eat lunch, or use the restroom but Heaven forbid someone may walk out with a candy bar & a soda they didn’t pay for! Do better Dollar General!! These are labor laws that you are violating openly showing a very real lack of care for those that work for you. Profits over human, that appears to be the DG way!

Love this store! The employees here are so kind and go above and beyond in many different ways to get you what you need. I am new to town and they never treat me or my family badly. I cannot say enough good things about this location. The only thing I wish they had is a produce section. Besides that, this location and its employees are awesome.

I was glad they put a store in Minco sadly every time I go there to purchase something specific like bread or cheese they are out. The company needs to do a better job ordering products and also offer produce.

Its a joy to see the customers come in. We do our best to keep the store clean and stocked. The store is VERY different than it was last year. We now have new staff that actually cares about the store. Come in and see us ?

evidently the digital coupon system does not work. I also asked about the pricing on the shelf being different than the prices ringing up and was told there are not enough minutes in a day to fix everything
