Discount Moving recently moved my Mom - the 2 young men were excellent in their work. But as important to me, they were very kind and courteous to my Mom - they treated her and her things with great respect. They worked efficiently and nothing was lost or damaged.

Discount Movers are absolutely awesome! I first hired them back in 2010, and I still remember how professional, kind, and fast they were. I had to move out on my closing day with only four hours to spare, and they made it happen. Not only did they finish everything on time, but I even had time left to clean up my house.
In 2019, I called them again to move my piano from upstairs to downstairs. I honestly thought it was impossible for just two movers, but they handled it with such care. It was tough work, but they didn’t leave a single scratch on my walls—they made the impossible possible.
Most recently, in September 2025, they moved my entire 4,000 sq. ft. home. They packed everything into two big trucks and got it all done quickly and professionally. I even called them last minute, and even though they were fully booked, they sent two teams in the afternoon to help us out.
One thing I really appreciate is that while their initial estimate may seem a little high, the final cost always comes out cheaper than expected—often much lower than you ever expected. Plus, they’re fully insured, which gives me peace of mind. Unlike unlicensed or uninsured movers, where any damages would be on you, Discount Movers take full responsibility and handle everything with professionalism.
I can’t thank them enough for all the times they’ve helped me over the years. They’re reliable, trustworthy, and worth every penny. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about Paula Dodson and her team at Discount Moving! I originally came across a furniture post that Paula shared on behalf of a client. The pieces looked almost brand new, and within minutes of reaching out, Paula responded. She even went the extra mile to drive to the client’s home and FaceTime me so I could see everything in real time.
Once I confirmed I wanted the furniture, the challenge was figuring out how to get it home. Paula and her team were already helping the client move and offered to deliver the pieces to my house at a very fair price. They showed up right on time, handled everything with so much care, and had the furniture in place within 15–20 minutes. Not a single dent or scratch! They even reassembled the pieces exactly as they had been originally set up.
Her team was professional, kind, and efficient from start to finish. It truly felt like a blessing for me and my family. The furniture has already been a huge help for our household and our small businesses, and everyone who sees it comments on how beautiful it is.
If you are looking for movers who genuinely care about their clients, go above and beyond, and do everything with excellence—Paula and Discount Moving are who you want!

While the movers themselves were great and very polite, I was really disappointed with the billing. I was quoted $150 per hour and $75 for every half hour, and I confirmed twice that this was the full rate. The movers arrived at 1:40 PM and left at 2:40 PM, so I expected to pay for two hours at most. Instead, I was charged for three hours—not even the two-hour minimum I was told about.
On top of that, I was suddenly told there was a “travel charge” that had never been mentioned in the quote. By the time I realized, I was signing a bill for $500, much higher than expected. I tried calling afterward to get an explanation, but no one returned my call.
Great movers, but I wish the pricing had been transparent from the start.

This was a phenomenal experience for moving! My daughter had used 3 times and highly recommended. They work for two days, part of the time in rain and thunder, two crews, 2 trucks, so professional, polite, worked non-stop and went above & beyond. I can’t say enough about all the crew (all 7)‼️

They moved my sister into her new home, I was there to help. Make sure that my sister was supported. Rusty and Derek did the heavy work with extreme caution and great concern over everything they did.. Can’t recommend them enough!

Rusty and Derek moved my son’s belongings from his apartment in Yukon to an apartment in Norman. This was the 6th time we’ve used movers and Discount Moving has by far been the best! The entire experience was great - from scheduling the appointment to completing the move. I highly recommend them and can’t say enough! It was close to 100° outside at the time, but that didn’t slow them down one bit. VERY hard working, took care of all items like they were theirs. And very budget-friendly! Thank you Rusty and Derek!!

Corey and Derek from Discount Moving were absolutely phenomenal. From start to finish, they handled everything with care, professionalism, and a great attitude. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and made the entire moving process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find a crew that takes such pride in their work — they treated our belongings like their own and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right.

This was our first time using a moving company. Discount Moving came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. We liked that they were a local company who had been in business for a pong time. They were exactly on time and got to work quickly and efficiently. This has been the best moving experience! I cannot say enough great things about this company and their team. Great movers! Friendly, fast, and efficient!
We moved to a smaller house and different city and they were very accommodating.
Highly recommend and while we hope not to move again, we would use them in a heartbeat if needed.
