I think that the United States Postal Service should close the Mounds Post office and use a larger city Postal Service to come out and deliver mountains because They don’t deliver packages to your house they leave a note in your mailbox. They close too early they’re never open when you need to be open because at 4:30 people don’t get off till five and then 9 to 11 on a Saturday what is that? that’s a waste of time The Mounds Post Office some people in there are nice a lot of them aren’t I call up there and they hang up on me so now I’m leaving this review so that they can read what they’re doing And understand that this is why I want all of my packages delivered by an outside carrier not them because their contractors don’t do their jobs. Their job is to deliver packages and mail if a package comes in the United States Postal Service there to look to do deliver it to the house not just leave it at the post office and drop it off in the mailbox but that’s what my carrier does. That’s how good they are. They contractors need to be well, they need to be selected replaced with people who will do their job and not be lazy. They need to be able to get out of their car walk up and put a package on the porch. There’s no dog running around to be worried about I’ve got security cameras on my porch on my driveway , so why is it that they’re worried about the security of my package some people work six days a week like they do work supposed to do thanks for the great service mounds Postal Service

This mail service is one of the worst I have ever experienced. The lady that works at the office in Mounds is very rude and hard to deal with on anything. The new delivery person is absolutely horrible. I can't even begin to imagine where they find these people.

I have had multiple problems with mail service since we lost our friendly reliable mail carrier. The young guy we have now is really bad. I'm not even going to get into my previous complaints I reported to the Mound Post Office which were met with rudeness and dismissal. Yesterday I received a package while away from home that he lied about on Informed Delivery and claimed he delivered it to my Front Door/ Porch. What he actually did was launch it over my gate into an extremely muddy area of my lawn due to the recent ice and rain. In order to place it there he had to walk right past our carport that has a wagon in it that already contained three packages that had been delivered that day from reputable carriers. I watch this guy launch all of my neighbor's packages over their fences and gates with no concern for damage or destruction from possible rain. When he first began this route my family would smile and/or wave at him as he was at our box or driving past and he would look away. He never said hello, never smiled back, never acknowledged us in any way. Naturally, I can't get through to the Mounds post office to discuss this. But I have lost hope that they even care what their carriers do. I got the attitude that our job is hard and so you get what you get and just shut up and be happy about it. I have begun to collect videos of this carrier and plan to report them to a higher authority and bypass Mounds Post Office altogether.

I’ve had my fair share of ordeals with parcels being mis-delivered or delayed but PLEASE treat the employees here with kindness and they will treat you the same back! Margaret and Vanessa are two wonderful souls who will go above and beyond for the public. The town of Mounds can sometimes be full of hateful, unappreciative and miserable individuals, but please don’t be one of them. I genuinely appreciate and respect that the employees here at this post office show up and are ready to serve each day no matter the weather! Blessed be those who leave their attitude at the door and treat this place with some respect.

My package needed a signature for pick up. I went there in the morning to pick it up, like i was told to do the day before. Was told they couldn't get it. Worker walked by and said she has seen the package. I was told again, they have until 10am to sort it. But, I was told they just saw the package, and they refused to bring it to the counter. And these people are public servants. Go figure. They deserve less then a 1 star

The workers hold onto mail won't put mail in p.o box or send it out. I have had repeat issues. If you call the post master with the issues it wont help you cause they and suger coat it saying there's no issues and that your a "crazy karen". don't use the post office if you can help it.

They won’t get out of their truck and deliver a package. Lazy postal workers and I’m a postal worker. Left me a 3849 for a non signature package that was too big to fit in the box.

If your drive way is too long or if they just don’t feel like it, forget about your mail! I have had so many issues with the carrier not delivering packages, then anytime I call and try to resolve it they are so hateful and mean at this location! They will lie and say there are dogs on your property when there are obviously not. Literally would rather not get mail, give up on society, and flee into the woods than deal with them.
