“Very neat and eclectic shop. Always has some local flavor and local made stuff like shirts, honey, and other stuff. Part antique shop and part flea market. Mattie Jane's is right next door which is a wonderful sandwich, salad, soup and quiche shop. Also very good cookies. Order some food and shop around”
“Awesome Place. Airconditioned thank goodness. There are some booths that are high and some that are low same as many similar shops, but they seem to run specials all the time. The folks are always friendly and it's much larger than I thought it would be. I also went to one of their open air markets and it was super cheap.”
“Now THIS is an antique mall! My goodness, everything from the products to the cash register was truly antique. They had so many INCREDIBLE china sets. All sorts of beautiful glass and porcelain pieces. I'm so mad I didn't have any money! But I will be coming back fully funded. They have a layaway option! You just have to put down 30% of the items worth. The staff was very kind and endearing. I can't wait to come back with cash!”
“Excellent work! I had two kitchens chairs, orange from the 70's, from my mother's kitchen and bought two from an antique store, red and white from the 50's - 60's. Two different sizes in chairs but same The red ones had thicker padding but that was ok, as it was more about sentimentality. I choseyellow cracked ice material and the great crew at Thayers thickend the padding on the backs and seats to mirror each other. They look AWESOME! My Dad's beloved rocker/recliner is next! I am completely comfortable with Thayer handling my family heirlooms.”
