Big enough to have plenty to do, small enough that you're not worried about the kids disappearing.

It was great but I need to plan better and avoid it when there are 3 bus loads of kids that aren't being supervised.

Are footballs always allowed in the main pool? There was a large group of boys playing last weekend when the pool was very full. We nearly got hit with the ball several times. I would think it was a safety hazard but only one lifeguard told them to stop.
The lazy river was filthy.
