“I was a victim of a hit and run while parked at the United Grocery store. Someone in a large truck backed into my VW GTI and crumpled, then ripped the rear bumper from the body of the car on the rear passenger side. I emerged from the grocery store to discover the damage. I really didn't want to have to claim this on my insurance, so I drove out to David Burch's to see how much the repair would be. After telling him what happened to me at the grocery store, he grabbed two tools and got to work immediately. After fully repairing the bumper in less than 5 minutes, I asked him how much I owed him and he said not to worry about paying him. I am so grateful to David Burch. I'd been worried about the cost of repairing someone else's mistake and had been feeling pretty down about the fact that someone had damaged my car and left me with the responsibility and cost of repairing it...and David was able to restore both my bumper and my faith in humanity!
