Don’t take your car here. My parents have used this repair shop for 20+ years.
I took in my Buick to get the AC diagnosed. they told me in the condenser, the compressor, and the blend door. 3,800 to fix it. Then they charged us 4,000. We paid upfront because we’ve known them for 20+ years.
So they “ replaced “ the condenser, compressor, and blend door. They also had to “ replace the control panel “ and “ diffusers “. allegedly. Control panel worked fine for heat and everything else.
Only to recharge it and find out that the “ back condenser “ leaked out all the fluid. They told me that they DIDNT KNOW there was a back Evoporator or lines under the car. This was after they told us it’d only be the 3,800 to fix it and they didn’t even diagnose the other half of the AC in the car. So they didn’t fully diagnose the Buick for the AC issues and one part we paid 1,700 in is still not working properly.
They wanted us to pay for more parts and labor. WHEN they didn’t diagnose the car right or even know what parts were in the car to test.
Well, we turned on our heat, which worked fine before they worked on it, now the blend door is stuck on cool. So I don’t even think they replaced my blend door, I think they just switched it to “ cool “ and called it good. Becuase they said they had to take off my dash. There’s no signs my dash has been taken off. And it’s a Buick, there’s going to be signs. it’s still broken and they charged 1700 for its replacement.
Now I’m having to get it taken to another mechanic shop to get diagnosed and make sure there were even any new parts put in and that they were put in correctly and for them to finish diagnosing our AC and make sure there isn’t anymore leaks or surprises.
Just do not trust them with your car, we shouldn’t have paid upfront. But I will be making complaints to the attorney general. I will be considering a lawsuit. Because when someone brings their AC to be diagnosed, you should diagnose the whole AC, not what you “ think “ the problem is and just start replacing parts and then go “ oops “ it’s something else.
Never had issues like this when Matt worked there. My parents went there for years and were never overpriced and lied to like this.

First time contacting Mike-I had old Chevy with 5.3 - loud tapping and very rough idle-figured probably the collapsing valve issue. Figured it was going to be very expensive! Mike had me bring in to check said probably just bad coil -replaced coils but also needed plug wires , plugs and o2 sensor- has 230k on them-been running good since . I probably would have spent a lot more money on unnecessary repairs if not for Mike ! Was very impressed of his helpfulness and trying to fix as cheap as possible ( of course nothing is inexpensive any more! )never the less I am very satisfied with Mike and his service-good to find a trustworthy mechanic! Hopefully I wont need his services for a while but he’s the one I’ll be goin to when needed

Not sure what happened to Matt the mechanic but I will not be taking any of my cars back here. Went to Ricks for years but the new mechanic quoted me $1000 to fix a simple steering angle sensor. The part is $49 at Oreillys and took less than 30 mins for me to fix. He was also trying to tell me that a ford edge needed a rack and pin replacement and quotes $2200 for just parts. All that is needed is a simple control arm replacement. Was going to have them sell this car for me and had it for 2 weeks. I saw them driving the car through Newcastle multiple times and Monday morning on my way home I drive by and there is mud all up the side of it. Yesterday I picked it up and the car was spotless so not sure why it was covered in mud the day prior. After giving me a load of bs on the phone about parts cost then he starts telling me about how his wife likes it and had drove it a few times. Would not recommend anyone take their vehicles here for service.

First time I’ve been there and must say I’m impressed. They took my car to check for a leak that I’ve had for a while and had Christian brothers work on it to no avail. They didn’t need two weeks and extremely friendly. As of now, no leaks and by now before it would be leaking after driving! Great warranty on their work. So far so good

This is a family owned business and I have had the pleasure of working with them for over 12 years. I don’t take my vehicles to anyone else. They’ve always been honest and upfront with what repairs were needed, the costs and timeframe. And compared to other places the costs were very reasonable. Great company and some great people.
