They killed 2 puppies of a friend. They tried to say the dogs where mean but I've known the puppies since they was born. I show up to thier house once a week or so and not once did I think the puppies where viscous. A dog should never be nice to a complete strangers without the owner. But if they let someone that knows the family visits whenever without ever being bit then the animal not viscous. They wouldn't even let her take the puppies to family's that is outside the city area with like 50 acres of land. Nope, Instead they killed two puppies just because the breed. Evil people, evil place.

For starters we took a cat that an off duty Cleveland County Officer (Officer Matt Perry) shot and killed for no reason so they had to do an autopsy and kept telling us they would call when the ashes were ready but they didn't and when we called again they told us they threw them away. Months later I found 3 kittens and being afraid that same cop might shoot them I tried taking them to this same place and the lady at the front desk kept asking if they are mine and threatening that I will be in a lot of trouble if they found out they were mine. First of all we pay taxes for this kind of stuff. At the end they would not take the kittens. Very disappointed in this place and thanks for making sure our tax dollars are waisted. The lady was very disrespectful.

I have tried to drop off a found stray on several times that keeps damaging my property, and they will not take him. They always tell me to come back another time. I need this animal taken in! It has gotten in our garage, house, and shed and peed all over. Because they won't take him, I am stuck trying to keep this cat out of our home. He was most likely left by people who moved and left him behind.

They don't ever help you with anything. It is like they only do a few things and if you venture out of their comfort zone, it throws them. I called and asked about surrender and nearly had to explain what that was to the girl. They she hemmed and hawed on the procedure, finally stating that I had to bring the dog in to be seen first. Geez, I am not selling a car!! Compassion? NOOOOOO. I don't give up surrendering an animal lightly. But she didn't care about the circumstance or my painful decision. STAY AWAY!

I had heck finding the right kitten after my cat passed. I went to several pounds in several towns. I saw 2 kittens on the Norman animal control website. They have the best website of any of the shelters. When I got there I met my kitten. She has been a wonderful addition to my pack
