Avoid at all costs. I waited for 45 minutes to just drop off some equipment. At least 10 people queued up in there while they had 1 person working who was completely tied up by a Karen saying “I don’t know what you mean” over and over for the entire time. Once another employee came in and I finally got to give them back a few cable boxes they tried to sell me a phone with 10 people waiting behind me.

Customer service is awful. I spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to disconnect my service only for the call to drop. I called back and spent another 10 minutes telling the rep "cancel my service there is nothing you can offer me to stay." They then keep asking me if my new service is offering the same service as what Cox is. They do not care about you as a customer. They only care about you giving them money and their subscriber numbers.

On the phone they are great. In person Rude!, doesn't seam like they care for customer service, or to do anything to help. Maybe go to any other one for better service...

I hate to give low reviews but it truly astounds me that my roommate and I pay money for this service. Our internet isn't just slow, it barely works 70% of the time. Streaming services, gaming consoles, school assignments, all completely crashing throughout the day at random until our wifi decides to work again 2 hours later. Never in my life have I experienced internet this bad. Just truly awful.

I want to advise people who don't have a cox account to make sure to not give your ssn out to anyone for the very simple fact this company allows people to open up a account using someone else's ssn and doesn't run a verification security process by no means with the person whom is opening an account. This company truly sucks and isnt good I don't recommend this company at all to no one. Luke frs not I'm stuck with a $822 dollar bill and bad credit because they allow other people to open an account using my ssn button ask me the owner of that ssn for verification like that is so backwards. I asked at least 3 times what the total monthly cost would be for Internet and TV services, including all taxes/fees/etc. The representative flat out lied to me about the cost, which ended up being $50 more than they stated. They also entered my address incorrectly, which led to an unnecessary installation that cost $200, most of which was for work at the wrong address and correcting the store's mistake. Checked with the store about these issues, but they refused to take any responsibility for their lies and mistakes.

This is the worst Internet I've had since dial up. It's ridiculously expensive and ridiculously unreliable. Outages are common. Wifi is trash. I never get ANYWHERE CLOSE to the advertised speeds. If you have another choice, take it.

Do not use this company they are severely overpriced for service that messes up often and when I called to schedule a payment agreement they automatically set me up on auto pay and drafted my account without my permission. I switched to ATT and am paying 1/3 of what I was paying for Cox with better internet

I'm moving out of state and I needed to drop off my equipment after cancelling my service. After quickly explaining my situation, my equipment was promptly accepted and I got a receipt as well for it. In and out in under five minutes.

Didn’t realize I needed to overpay for WiFi that barely cuts it just for it to not work half of the time I need it to. As soon as OEC fiber is available I’ll be leaving this Cox router on the curb. Disappointment of a company.

Cox is an absolute horrible company! They only only offer competitive promotional pricing to new customers for the first 2 years. After that, they will hike your bill up another $30-$60 with out mentioning it to you. My poor parents were paying $225 a month for 250Mbps, Cable TV, & a Landline(that they no longer have)! This is absolutely absurd!! When I tried to help my parents lower their bill with Cox, They offered to lower it to $175, but assured me that I needed to keep all their services to get the bundle price..I ended up looking up other Internet service providers and found That OEC Fiber is offering Fiber internet for $55 a month(Not a promotion so the price wont shoot up) with no hidden fees! I acquired them a TV streaming service for far less than Cox Cable! If you are thinking about getting Cox, STAY AWAY!!! & if you already are a customer, SWITCH IMMEDIATELY!!
