Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Tried to return a suit that did not fit, but the “return” tag came off on its own while wearing it. Right when I asked if I can get return, they immediately saw the tag was off and just told me that it’s mine now and can’t be returned or exchanged then to hand it back to me without even giving me the time of day to explain anything. Not only that, they even kept repeatedly saying “says it on the tag” after handing it off. Recommend to everyone and anyone to walk around the corner and go to Dillards. Avoid this place

MISLEADING PROMO DISPLAYWent in a couple of weeks ago. The clothes are pricey, but they do have a few stylish shirts and pairs of pants. When I went they running a promotion on jeans. There was a display rack that said “Buy 1 Get 1 pair of jeans for $5”. I grabbed two pairs of pants from next to the sign along with a shirt and went to check out. The total was like $230. I asked him about the promotion and he tells me “well that’s for the jeans. These are chinos.” Look man, I’m not some pants expert. All I know is there was a big sign for the promo in the middle of a shelf, and on either side of that sign was two stacks of pants. 3 out of 4 of the stacks were jeans, but I guess one of the stacks were Chinos. So why include them in the promotional display??? That is just confusing and in a way that is easily avoidable. So he held on to the one pair of jeans and the shirt and gave me the Chinos to put back and see if there was another pair of jeans that I liked. There wasn’t. I ended up just leaving without buying anything. I was very disappointed to have learned that the item I most wanted from the promotional display…was not included in the promotion. That’s kind of d**** unless it was intentional, in which case that’s even worse. In hindsight perhaps I should have asked if they would go ahead and give me the jeans for $5 when buying the Chinos at full price, since there were no other jeans that I liked, but it didn’t occur to me at the time. I was kind of put off from the interaction and just wanted to leave. So free retail advice for Express Management: if you’re putting together a sales display, make sure the items on display under the sign are actually included in the sale. Otherwise you may confuse, disappoint or even frustrate potential customers. There were jeans in other places besides the promo display. Perhaps the Chinos could have occupied one of those spaces instead. that way you could still have had a full display which only included pants that were actually part of the sale. That way you don’t mislead people into thinking the other pants are also part of the sale. If that had been the case I would have realized the other pants weren’t part of the sale, not gotten my hopes up, and probably have found two pairs of jeans to get. Instead I left spending $0 and with a bad taste in my mouth, as well as the motivation to leave this review.

When they tell you that you will get a discount if you run your credit for an Express card, dont do it. The cashier told me "dont worry, it's a soft hit on your credit" I told her it's ok to run it as long as I get the discount but I didnt want to pay for the purchase with a credit card. I put in my info and then my mom paid for the purchase with her debit card. a few weeks later I got a bill in the mail for a credit card I didnt want to open for the full amount of the purchase. (and it never pulled from my moms bank card)my credit dropped by five points.dishonest business practices.if you're going to open a credit card in someone's name you have to tell them you are opening the account. You cant just say that you're running credit for the discount and that it isnt a big deal and wont effect someone's credit. Also, I got home and there was still a security tag on my new suit coat so I couldnt wear it to work and I still havent gotten the time to drive back to the store to get it removed.

I probably gave this store a low rating because I went there right after Christmas with some extra holiday pounds, so nothing fits which makes me feel huge. But, I also am not a fan of their current styles. The store is clean and makes browsing easy.

Went to the store and purchased a suit, they did not take the security tag off the suit. Live an hour away, real inconvenience and unprofessional.

Good sales, however, this location in Sooner Mall was poorly managed. After I was finished shopping, I tried ringing up and paying for my merch with one of the associates. Not only did it take an additional 5 minutes for her to get my info and email on one of those small devices because for some reason their main card readers weren’t working, but they were all taking their time accommodating customers. Apparently their backup card reader wasn’t working either because she kept saying my card was denied.. I pulled up my account right then, and there was no reason it should be denied, I had plenty of money on this card. The manager finally came and informed the associate that the card reader she was using wasn’t working. Great. She has to open up another register. After standing there and waiting for a good 15 minutes, while other customers were getting checked out, I asked how much longer it would be and the manager replied “I’m not sure, I’m going as fast as I can”. It would’ve been nice if they would’ve gave me an explanation of why they had to open up an additional register just to swipe my card??
