“To say Balfour saved me is an understatement. The day of Baylor - OU football game was the worst day of my life. In a drunken haze, I stumbled into Balfour shedding tears I felt would never dry. Not only was it a dark day for Norman, but it was my darkest hour. Upon entrance to the holy grail of OU paraphernalia, my conscious uplifted nearly to heaven. I was transcended. I found a sweatshirt I want to be buried in. I found a key chain I want to pass on to my children. It was the most existential experience I have had in my life. Go here. Shop here. Spend your life's savings here. Then go to O'Conns. Thank you.”

“I initially called Tulips when gift shopping for a friend undergoing chemotherapy. They do not do deliveries (although they will post a package through USPS) and I had a particular day in mind for my friend to receive her gift so... I went with a different company who assured me that my gift would arrive on time. When that company failed to deliver my friend's gift I called Tulips back and went on a virtual shopping spree over the phone. Meredith walked me through tons of products and made recommendations for a self-care package and then assured me they would send it out in the mail that day. I can't say enough nice things about how lovely Meredith was. I received a phone call from Maria (another employee) the following day with an update. The postal service had not arrived to pick up the package so Paige (another employee) personally drove the package to my friend's home which is just outside Norman. With all the sadness and madness in today's world it meant so much to me to find this unexpected treat of a shop where you are treated like an important friend. If you can support their business I give them my highest rating. Thank you Tulips!!”

“Great place! They had freshly-stocked Thymes products (I love their Frasier Fir line). Helpful ladies. I visited on a special parents’ day for OU so they offered me a blended rosé, which was pretty great and totally unexpected.”
“I love this store! It's full of fun, inspiring and all-around great seasonal as well as every day merchandise. The owner is sweet and points out new items to me every time I visit. She also special orders items I ask for that aren't in stock. The sale room is full of great stuff and I always find items for special gifts to friends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND”
