I went into this GNC today (Sunday, March 2) planning to spend $250+ on protein powder and other products during their BOGO 50% off sale, which is heavily advertised in-store and online. However, I was told the promotion only applies to GNC-branded products and a select few cheaper creatine options—even though I was able to add two 5lb tubs of protein to my online cart along with other products and see the discount applied on every product as advertised. When I showed this to the associate, he dismissed it, saying it “must be wrong” because this store is a franchise and doesn’t follow the same promotions as corporate.
Fine—if that’s how they run things, so be it. But what really stood out was the lack of effort. No attempt to sell me anything, no alternatives offered—just an easy $200+ sale walking right out the door. No name tag on the employee, no professionalism, just a poor experience all around.
If you want to shop at GNC and are okay with paying a little extra to take advantage of their promos, just order online OR go to a different location. At least there, the deals actually work. I won’t be back to this store. If the associate working here was employed at the store I run, he wouldn’t be back at work on his next shift for turning away business.

Just wanted to look around and likely would have bought a decent amount of stuff but I get immediately jumped on by a “salesman” who won’t shut up the whole time. Wouldn’t stop trying to upsell and add on sale.
High pressure snake oil type store. If you would have left me alone I bet you I would have talked myself into buying 100$ plus but instead I bought nothing.

Google said you can buy Frog fuel here the person I talked to didn't even know what frog fuel was and he didn't seem very helpful.

All the guy behind the register tried to do was upsell me, and legitimately just make things up in regards to creatine. He also got upset when I pointed out his mistake on creatine, asked for my number for my gnc account and didn't continue to engage. It's tragic, I'll just go to a different store.

Franchise is run by Draper family. I love how they give me best deals up front. And how helpful, friendly, knowledgeable they are on my questions. And they don't just tell me what shelf it's on. They go get it for me.Todays example, I wanted the multi pack daily vitamins WITH mineral supplements for MEN 50 plus. It's a 6 pill assortment already in a single daily packet, super convenient.Right away he said they got a BOGO Half off. And he said I don't need my keychain tag anymore. Just my phone #. Wow! AND this store is right next door to Starbucks, AND to Chipotle. I'll be BACK.

The workers there are fantastic, Prashant in particular, he always has a smile on his face and is ready to help me as soon as I walk in the door. His knowledge of the products makes it easy to find what I’m looking for even when I don’t know and always does an excellent job!
