Love this salon! I have had a platinum pixie for years now, and my hair stylist Sandy continues to design and color my hair to perfection! From razor cuts to shaved sides, she does it all while maintaining the integrity of my hair! So talented! Staff is very friendly and booking an appointment is easy!

I have difficult hair. I arrived with a brassy from the box color, a post lockdown home haircut and chemo induced frizz. Allyson Tyler analyzed the situation and came up with solutions to all these problems. My color is soft and flattering, the cut is longer and more manageable than I thought possible! She applied a conditioner that improved the feel of my hair. She apologized for being slow- au contraire! Ally is thorough and brilliant at her art. I'm sold! I will keep returning to this stylist and salon as long as I live!

I went to Lollie's Beauty Bar to have hand-tied extensions installed for the first time. During my consultation, my stylist and I discussed that this would be a learning experience for both of us to install curly extensions. I was very clear that if I was going to invest in extensions, I wanted them to be thick and was willing to pay more for more bundles if needed. I was reassured that what I was ordering was enough. I told her that I definitely would want as many installed as possible. Upon arriving to my appointment, I saw that the extensions did not match the curl pattern of my hair, and I had not been made aware of this prior to my appointment (despite the hair arriving prior to my appointment date). Due to my lack of experience, I mistakenly thought that maybe if they were wet and styled different they would blend. After installing roughly half of the extensions, I left the salon and was immediately in tears, seeing that I was wearing what looked to be clip-in Claire's mullet extensions. My hair and the extensions had not been blended whatsoever and there was a huge gap between my hair and the extensions. I decided to speak up and request that we add in as many more as possible and was accommodated with kindness. After styling my hair, cutting and blending it, and adding the extra wefts-- they looked as I had hoped. I decided to pay my stylist for her extra efforts, despite being surprised to have left the first time in that condition. A week and a half later and the entire bottom two wefts of extensions came completely unsewn from my head. The tangling took a chunk of extension and a chunk of my hair to get them unstuck. After expressing honest disappointment and frustration to have to visit a third time, I was given an irritated response and essentially told that this was something I should have expected and I felt that I was being told this was my fault. I requested a refund for the installation because I no longer felt comfortable returning again and I feared that the remaining wefts were also installed improperly and have to now pay yet another stylist to uninstall and then reinstall the hair. After going back and forth with the stylist, the owner gave me a call. She essentially told me that even though she'd never had a client have extensions fall out, the stylist did nothing wrong and she didn't understand why I wouldn't come back in and that we'd have to pick up the conversation another time because her husband was wanting to know when she was coming home and she'd been working all day. I was left with 0 solution other than returning for them to sew in the bottom weft. I was told that there was a no refund policy, and when I asked if there was anywhere that I could have read or been made aware of that policy prior to my services, she stated that it didn't exist anywhere because she'd never needed to tell someone that. While I really liked my stylist, I feel that she was much less prepared than I had been made aware of or understood and I do not feel I received the services I paid for. I felt that after I communicated how unhappy I was, things went downhill quickly. Now I am stuck with thin-looking extensions that I will now have to pay someone else to take out and install properly, after paying $2,600+ for this experience. I do NOT recommend at all. Update: 07/13/22 Update: I now have what I've been told are "tension sores" in different areas on my scalp where the hair was pulled too tightly or unevenly around my head that could cause traction alopecia. They are infected and I am potentially going to have to have the extensions removed as well as a medicated ointment for the skin.

Beautiful shop and cute waiting area. Becca was wonderful and gave me beautiful highlights with a great haircut. I absolutely love it. I watched a lot of nice hairstyles walk out of this shop.

While visiting Norman, OK I treated myself to a salon appointment for a shampoo & blowout. Dawn was wonderful. I received 4 compliments on my hair even after the winds changed it up a bit. Thanks for making a girl feel great! Very good experience and I will be back when in town.

I've been going to Lollie's for years. Even after moving to NE OK, I still make special trips to town to get my haircut with Loren. It's the only place I've ever been that is both affordable and consistent! Love getting to recommend Lollie's to my OU senior photography clients and will continue doing so!

I used Lollie's for many years until my stylist, Donna, left unannounced a few years ago. I liked the online booking option which worked great for me. I recently discovered Donna had returned to Lollie's but she was booked and I was unable to make an appointment with her at the time needed. I watched the online system off and on so I could eventually find an available time to book an appointment with Donna. Fortunately, I was able to book a time on her schedule for a "color and cut." In order to get this time, I had to cancel half of my work day, but was willing to do so in order to be worked in. I received a call from the salon yesterday stating their "online system has been messing up" and Donna wasn't available for a "color and cut" and was only doing "cuts" at this time. I agreed I would just do the cut and worry about color another time and explained I had already taken off work. I later receive a message on my voice mail from Donna stating she is not doing "colors" at this time but could refer me to another person (I thought she just didn't get the message). I called back and told the salon that I would be happy to just do a "cut" and the person on the other line didn't quite know what to say. Eventually, I discovered that Donna was being selective on who she is willing to see, and I was not selected. The salon staff admitted that "it was her fault" for telling me an "untruth" about their system not working properly, and that Donna just "didn't want to be rude" by telling me this information. Apparently, "I didn't make the cut." ?. Why all the lying? She has a business and if she wants to be selective in her specific clientele, she can choose to do so. But to advertise bookings online and then "cancel" them due to selectivity is not good practice. ?Goodbye Lollie's.

Great salon with a friendly staff. Chloe is the BEST stylist in Norman! She listens and provides suggestions to make sure you get exactly the color and style you want. She is fabulous at men's styles as well. All of my sons and my husband get their cuts from her. Highly recommend Chloe!
