Norman regional has several good doctors but they lack the office staff needed to provide adequate care! The prescription I take for psoriatic arthritis is $1400/month so I apply for financial assistance. I dropped off my application to Dr. Malik's office in early December (due the 15th). Nothing was ever done with it so now a month later I am in severe pain with no medication! And no call back from the doctors office! Complete incompetence! Once again Norman Regional saves a buck at my expense! So tired of this!

Healthcare is joke at norman regional health systems. They don't like poor or elderly. They force them to suffer, create issues that aren't real, everyone id a drug seeker. I've never been treated so poorly by so many who actually believe this system is good. It's not. And there is nothing we can do about it. We have no value.

My husband has been at this hospital since July 21st. He is have an leg amputation done. He was schedule for surgery on July 28th but they had to reschedule the surgery because some one did not take him off of his blood thinners in time, so we understood that things happen we are all human. So the surgery was reschedule to at 9am I get a phone call at 615 this morning from my husband said hey they are fixing to take me down for surgery thankfully I only live about 5 mins away. So they are getting him all prepped surgeon comes in and goes everything then the anesthesiologist tell us we can't do surgery today because the cardo doctor has ran the test that needed to ran. We are both clearing upset I stated I am going to lose my job after this because I have be missing work since my husband has been in the hospital so the anesthesiologist looks at me and said well you don't have to be here for the surgery!!! WTH that is my husband and it is a big surgery for us. So I had to get out of there went up to the room and Cardo doctor came in and was also extremely rude and to for the second time as he doesn't understand our frustration at this point he is putting on someone other than his self. Proceed to tell me that I am be hostile and that I can take my husband somewhere else. So the nurse gave me a number to the patient liaision I have called her all day today no answer I have ask the nurses to please send the case manager to our room no case manager came by I have up there since 7 this morning and no one has tried to help with this. I am very disappointed with this hospital. So Please NORMAN REGIONAL be better at communication between doctor and have better bed side manners!!!!

I called to make an appointment for a chest X-ray. I had to leave a message and my call back information. This happened about 4 weeks ago. I have not received a call yet. I finally went to Oklahoma City and it took a total of 2 hrs and that included drive time. Seriously

Everyone here have been so wonderful and supportive of our little angel, Elijah. Sadly, his soul departed before he could come into the world.. Their kindness, sympathy, and respect they have shown has been more than I would have ever expected. Our pain and emotional healing has begun.Over the past 7 years, my daughter has successfully delivered 4 lovely living children who have been delivered here and all have been very good experiences.Thank You

My stay in the newer Healthplex hospital was a miracle for me. I was brought in by ambulance and really do not remember much about that. I had unknowingly suffered a heart attack and stroke. I was attended to by a team of doctors and dedicated nurses. the nurses were all nice, although I didn't understand I had a buzzer for help. I guess when you're confused, one has to explain stuff over and over. I also could not write or speak well the first several days, but found the staff patient. I continued with home health care once I got home. I am very grateful to the ER, and to everyone who helped me.

Absolutely love Dr. Oh's, she's the first OBGYN I've ever seen and I wouldn't even bother trying to see if there was anyone to compare. She's been helping me so much with my first pregnancy and she gave me my first ever gynecological exam (very late, ik). She walked me through everything she was gonna do before she did, was also kind and compassionate, listened to and answered all questions I've ever had, and has just overall been an amazing doctor to have my care placed in. I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I was left in an exam room unattended for 7 hours! I disconnected all leads and no one came to check why!

In ER at the moment. Not very good treatment at all. Been waiting to discharge for over an hour. Nurse unfriendly. Needed some advice on medical care in the future, blown off treatment from care givers.

Norman Regional will screw you over not just once, but multiple times. I have a DVT at 20 years old and I have been dismissed, ignored, and taken advantage of. I was given a blood thinner by a nurse after telling her I couldn't have it because I was having an endoscopy that day. She didn't listen to me and still gave it to me to find out later that I wasn't supposed to have it--like I was telling her. That's one example of a nurse ignoring the patient and proceeding with her own ignorance against the patient's will. I was was supposed be referred to another specialist and was told "They'll call you next week". I called multiple times to find out that I was NEVER REFERRED. Because of the lack of concern for their patient, I was given one day to pick up a disk needed for an appointment Monday. I wasn't informed of holiday hours as it was Thanksgiving and so as the end result, I came to the hospital and wasn't able to pick it up leaving me with no disk and the wrong information. I'm in college and because of the lack of communication between nurses, doctors, and front desk employees, I have missed a numerous amount of school. I took a hard fall and called my doctor as instructed if something like this were to happen. They never returned my call until days later where I was asked if I could come in that day. I had to make last minute arrangements but went ahead and told her yes. She said I needed labs and to go to the hospital to get them done before the appointment. I waited two hours to never get the labs done and missed my appointment because no one ever answered the phone. I drove an hour away and back, wasted two hours to get nothing done, and missed my appointment that was scheduled that day. The front desk called me back and said "I'm sorry we quit taking patients after 1:15 and you could have came here for the labs." I was never told any of that information and if they would have answered the phone as I was calling to tell them I was waiting for labs and if I should just head there, I wouldn't have wasted my entire day nor turned in a paper late. Im on a walker so for me to get out, drive for hours whenever I'm not even supposed to sit that long, is unethical. After five months, my DVT has returned and I would argue that if they would have been attentive and fulfilled their obligations to their patients, I would not be facing a permanent disability at 20 years old. I would not recommend Norman Regional to anyone who is actually trying to get better. If I die from this situation, I have already informed my family to sue.

My husband has panic attacks and serious back problems that make his breathing and anxiety act up worse. The doctor gave him muscle relaxers and shot that did absolutely nothing. We went home he didn't get any sleep from constantly waking up trying to catch his breath. So we went back up there he asked for a breathing treatment because he does have a history of asthma they give him another shot and some anxiety meds . I can't go back there because we have our son who is six any other hospital I go to we all stick together except this one. They eventually told him that they ran out of OPTIONS TO HELP HIM then finally gave him some anxiety medication he hasn't been sleep from 7 to almost 6 in the morning. This is the worst hospital I have ever been to they don't treat you right they don't EVEN TRY it's like it's all a joke to them and they need to be REPORTED FIRE THE WHOLE STAFF AND START TF OVER SERIOUSLY

Nice enough staff but they don’t get in a hurry about helping anyone solve time sensitive issues and the financial department and scheduling needs to get on the same page. I am going to be billed for a full visit and blood work because I was told twice by 2 different staff members that I would not need a referral for my appointment and now of course I need one and they tell me at noon the day before an ultrasound that I need to get a referral from my pcp. Why wasn’t I told this from the get go? Why wait till the last minute when there is no way I can get appointment for my referral before my ultrasound at 8:30am. I do not like being jerked around. Be up front and honest. This is the second time it’s been done to me here so I am over it. I will not be responsible for a bill when I was misinformed by their staff twice. That’s bad business.

Make sure you're ready to sit in the waiting room for 1-2 hours each visit, regardless of how early you arrive for your appointment. I have even had to wait 2 hours between seeing the nurse and the Dr.

The anesthesiologist was incredibly rude and d*** wouldn't put me under for a simple surgery cause I have kidney failure well no crap Sherlock doctor knew that ! And maybe check k abs day before you put people through taking off work and prep for surgery 1st . Also don't tell a patient they need dialysis with your God complex. Let's see that requires SURGERY!!!, from a better anesthesiologist! How d*** can you be .
