Taylor did such an amazing job! I have long fine, straight hair. He added layers and framed my face so well. I have had layers in the past and always hated them. They always looked "chunky". Not so with Taylor! He blended them so well that they just look so natural and beautiful! I can honestly say this is the first time I have LOVED my hair in at least 8 years. I highly recommend Taylor!

Sheena absolutely nailed it. I have pretty unruly natural curls and I literally didn’t even know how pretty my hair could be until she sat me down in her chair and worked her magic. I got a cut and Brazilian blowout keratin treatment. I wish I had a before and after for you but it would look like Princess Mia’s before and after pictures in Princess Diaries. Sheena, you’re amazing and I’ll be seeing you in 10 weeks!!

I got a Japanese straightening perm and I’m so happy! Nathan did a wonderful job and my hair looks fantastic. He also showed me the products and procedures to upkeep my hair healthy and gorgeous!

Susan is AMAZING! She absolutely went above and beyond to get me the bright pink hair that I wanted. She really listens to what you want and has the knowledge and expertise to make sure you leave the salon feeling great about the result. She’s so sweet and funny as well, but serious about her work. She is the only stylist I have personally seen at Salon Audace, but everyone I have seen and spoken with during my visits have been so sweet as well! Updated review -The owner of the salon, Nathan, called me to redo my hair and I love the haircut he gave me. He understood my problem with the previous haircut and patiently recut my hair. He took his own time and in the end I was very happy with how the haircut turned out.Old review -This was my first visit to this salon. I booked an appointment for balayage and hair cut. I went in on 3/9. I told the stylist that I wanted to cut my hair short and get a balayage but I don’t want to bleach my hair.First the color experience -I get that I have black hair and some colors might not look as bright if I don’t bleach it. So I showed her my previously colored hair (which was not bleached) and told her that I have achieved a good color even without bleaching. I even asked her what color might turn out good if we don’t bleach. I gave her multiple options like red, brown, caramel or whatever color she might have suggested. I even told her I’m ok if the color is not super bright. She tried to convince me for 30 mins that I need to bleach my hair. Eventually I told her that I am not comfortable with bleaching, I’ll just go for a haircut.Now the hair cut experience -I had long hair and I wanted to go short, about shoulder length or slightly longer. Obviously my hair is shorter than what I wanted but that’s the least of the problems here. There was no discussion as to what kind of cut I wanted. She started cutting my hair at the back and the length was all gone. She did not show me even once that this is how much I’m cutting and this is where your hair will hit. While she was cutting my hair I asked her what she plans on doing with my hair like are you going to give me layers? She said you want layers?! Ok, I’ll give you layers, just a little, not too crazy. A few minutes later I asked her can you give me bangs? She said ok I’ll give you bangs. These are questions the hair dresser should be asking you. There should be a discussion about what the person wants and not decide for them what you think they want. After she was done cutting, I even told her that I’m not happy with how my bangs look. I asked her to blend my bangs into the rest of my hair. She tried to fix them a little and then goes oh maybe it’s the blow dry. I literally look like a school girl. As a person going from long hair to short hair, it is a big change!! I want to feel comfortable when someone is cutting my hair. And I did not feel comfortable at all!! I couldn’t wait for this traumatic experience to end. I kept feeling like I want this to end so I can go out and cry over what just happened to my hair. I was really excited to go to this salon because of all the reviews but unfortunately I was extremely disappointed.Service: Haircut

The staff were all polite and knowledgeable. Salon design was very spartan and minimalist, which I'm not a fan of but definitely made it easy to see how sparkling clean the place is kept.Taylor was awesome! He did a wonderful curly cut on my 3b/3c curls and was super patient when I had concerns. This is the best my hair has looked in years.Side note, I didn't realize how intensely floral smelling the products they used were until I got in the car. If you're sensitive to smell (like I am) you may ask to skip the styling. It's actually a very pleasant smell, it was just super strong.

Susan did SUCH a good job on my hair!! This is my second time seeing her and I honestly don’t know if I can ever go anywhere else. I HIGHLY recommend going to Susan if you want color! She never lets you leave the salon feeling like you made a mistake & she’s just the sweetest person to be around! Always so welcoming at Salon Audauce!?
