I came in two days in a row, the first time two hours before close and the second time, an hour after opening.
I was told I could get my hair buzzed the next business day 24 hours later.
I was never greeted at the door and this place does not talk walk ins.
Walk ins are NOT welcome here.

Salon Essentials opened on the west side of Main St behind J. Boties sometime in the late 90's or early 00's and it hasn't changed much since then. Despite it being a little outdated, it is a busy salon and for good reason. They have some of the best talent when it comes to hair and they are one of the few last standing full-service salons that has nail techs offering services. I was having difficulty getting my nails done the way I like them and I am so glad I found Carla McKinney because not only does she charge less, she is available and ready to go during the time of my appointment. I love that she is willing to try all sorts of things and is hip on trends.
