Upon arrival, we checked into our room and left for a few hours. We returned to find our key card non-functional. Despite multiple trips to the front desk for replacement key cards that never worked and an eventual visit from a staff member to the door, we were told the door was unopenable and were relocated to another room, separated from our belongings. The next morning, a different employee effortlessly accessed our original room using a computer system. Despite the hassle and inconvenience, the hotel declined any form of compensation, justifying it with "we completed our reservation." Note that this was only a one night stay. Highly displeased with the service and won't be returning.

Terrible. No one was ever at the desk. No coffee ready in the morning in the lobby and the machine in the room didn't work. Room was dirty with dust bunnies in the corners. Outlet by the bed was broken. Lamp by the bed was broken. Only reason to stay here is if it's the last available place in Norman.

Lol, the fact that people are writing reviews as if they were expecting Trump Tower is laughable. This is a budget hotel and it serves its purpose WELL. Another review said the free eggs didn’t have gravy at breakfast and only had low fat milk… for around $60 a night, the fact that you get eggs at all is great! The staff was wonderful, the room was clean, and the price (AGAIN) was low. Don’t come in with unreasonable expectations and you’ll be just fine lol

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and the service provided was excellentThe location is a bit strange, however, there is plenty of parking space. The rooms are equipped with TV, iron/board, blow dryer and coffee pot. The fridge was not working efficiently, and the bed side charger did not workThank you

Room had a funky smell. There were 6” pieces of the angle iron bed frame sticking out under the cover that racked my shins twice walking around the bed, found dead ants under the comforter,The can light above the shower had no cover or trim, just exposed light bulb, no meat on the breakfast, powdered eggs and biscuits with no gravy . We’ve stayed in this hotel in the past but it has gone way down hill. Would never stay here again. Stay clear of this place!

My friend and I visited this hotel on 7/31. Immediately upon arriving to our room, we noticed a musty smell, but after a long day of driving were eager to just get to sleep so attempted to ignore it. There was a visible stain on the carpet and mold in the bathroom. When we were ready to go to sleep, we noticed that there was hair on the sheets (both beds and none of it was our hair) and small red-ish orange dots - we were unable to determine what these were but upon wiping them off with tissues, they left a mark on the sheets. Then finally we saw a roach (alive) in the room. This was the final straw and we packed our bags and went to the front desk to request a refund. The woman was not helpful with the problem and said that she was unable to issue a refund. She provided us with the contact information of the hotel manager, Paresh. Upon calling multiple times and sending 3 emails to Paresh, I have received no response. Due to the lack of cleanliness and terrible service, I would highly recommend finding another hotel option if you are in this area.

Wyndham rebranded the Best Western Plus on Medical Parkway as "Stone Hill Norman, Trademark Collection by Wyndham". If you call the number that comes up when searching for "Best Western Plus Norman" you end up with a call center that when you ask for "Best Western Plus on Medical Parkway in Norman Oklahoma" will make a reservation at the "SureStay Plus by Best Western".This is not a three-star hotel like Google shows. There is neither a bar nor restaurant. The hotel is very tired and the rooms are pretty awful. The upstairs hallway was hot with obvious dust. Carpet stains and mismatched patches were visible. In the room, there was visible gray dust an inch away from all walls - pretty gross.

No air conditioning on in hallway. Temp out side was 105. Room was clean, and smelled clean. Heated pool had no heat. Water was freezing. No extra towels set out for pool use. Plastic container for wet towels had been used as a trash can. Hot breakfast was lacking in a lot of ways. No there to assist you. No bacon or sausage. No gravey. Just eggs. Cereal available but only had low fat milk for it. I don't drink low fat milk, some children were complaining to thier parents that, they didn't like the milk either. Good points, entryway was pleasant at the front desk. Desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Asked for extra towels after trying the pool, and they got them with out question. Entryway, Desk area and hallways were clean and neat. Hotel was quite, so sleeping was no problem.

Stayed here for a week last month with my baseball team. While the rooms themselves were decent the rest of the hotel has lots of room for improvement. First off, a lot of us has issues with our keys. One key would randomly stop working so the person would get that key replaced. But, when the new key was activated, it shut off the roommates key. It was a really annoying cycle until we figured out we needed to get two keys when one stopped working. Next, the breakfast was ehh. The waffle make was nice but overall it was really limited. Hopefully they'll expand in the future. Next, the fitness center was not great. It stunk to high Heaven of BO. The lights didn't work and I had a hard time getting the elliptical to work. The pool was okay though. Lastly, it seemed like the cold water didn't work. After a long day of playing baseball in the sun, many of us wanted to take cold showers to cool down. The only temperature in the shower was hot. We couldn't even get to lukewarm because the knob would be turned too far and the shower would shut off. Overall, could be better. Spend the money and stay in a nicer hotel.

I love this hotel! I make sure to book a room there, any time I need a place to stay. I’ve stayed there many, many times and I’ve never had a bad experience. In fact, I couldn’t think of one negative thing to say about SureStay (Norman). The rooms are clean, it’s incredibly quiet, it’s very safe, and the staff are all amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel!!Nearby activities: The mall is right across the way, and there are many restaurants within walking distance. It’s a great central location!Walkability: There are so many places to shop, or to go eat at! It’s super easy to walk everywhere, they’re all within a half mile of the hotel.

Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time.Unless this is a last minute booking to watch a sporting event because all other places in town are full, avoid at all costs.Room #1... Seemed alright. Oh... A cigarette burn or two in the comforter... This room is non smoking... How long have they been using this comforter??? Of well.... Oh... The cable doesn't work in here (Room 207 btw).Guess we will switch rooms...Room #2 (room 237.... All the way down the hall... In a hotel housing 5 cars....)Room 2... Whoo.. it's warm in here, let's adjust that AC unit. Oh... The AC unit has no indicators on it, let's just play with it til we get it right (picture attached). Hey, the cable mostly works in this room. Even more cigarette burns in the comforter. Somebody swiped the hair dryer from this room... Didn't pack one because their website said all rooms have one. Coffeemaker... But no coffee. At least they have a pool right? Well.... If it ever actually opens.A hotel on its last leg holding its last breath before death. Nothing more. Again, unless it's a last dish effort to find a place to stay for an even, do not waste your time.

I am Sure you should Stay away -- there was nothing Best about this place.Pictures are from the third room! I brought the GM up to the last room and he said he would notify house keeping. No apology offered, but he graciously canceled our 3-day reservation. We went to another hotel that didn't have black mold growing in the fridge and broken window mechanisms. My wife knew when we walked into the lobby and saw a person with their bare feet up on the furniture. Should have listened to her when I booked it.Shame on you Best ?? Western!

The staff was very rude and would never stay here again, due to there attitude. The room was clean but no breakfast, if your a stay over they didn't offer to clean your room. They were very negative about everything and were argumentative. I would stay here again if the staff was new or had correction to their attitudes I have never been treated as bad as I was here spending money with people who acted as if they were doing you a favor. But as for the rest of the building was nice enough. Please school your staff on treating your guest with respect and give all the right treatment during their stay unless the guest had been loud or damaging to the premises.

Filthy inside and out. The indoor pool is terrifying. Zero chance that my child was putting one toe into that water. The elevator, entire 2nd floor and our room smelled like tuna. No breakfast provided as advertised. We were in Norman for the entire day otherwise would've left to sleep anywhere else. I am assuming that is why the make you pay the $89 upon check-in/arrival. Never again sure stay!

Very low key and quiet atmosphere. Rooms are pretty nice for the affordable price. Right off of I-35 so it is convenient to get to anywhere. Walking distance to Sooner Fashion Mall, Sam's Club, BJ's, Charleston's, McDonald's, Red Lobster and more.Nearby activities: Lots of shopping. Sooner Fashion Mall, Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, Goodwill, Hobby Lobby, Big Lots, Barnes & Noble, Home Depot, Lowe's, Mile Of Cars, Party Galaxy & more.
