We stopped in hoping for a quick oil change. They had three people working up top on one car. They did not get to us after waiting over 10 min in the bay. Not including time waiting outside. Not even a pop the hood. If it had been one person, I would have understood. They were putting bottled water in the wiper fluid so I thought maybe their equipment was not working?????

Well I found my permanent place for all of my oil changes from now on! Morgan the assistant manager is great, as well as the new guy he was training, he did a great job as well. They did an oil change for my Camaro today and I couldn’t be happier with the job they did! They were kind and professional and kept me in the loop with everything they were doing, asking me if it was ok, and it was fast! Thank you keep up the good work!

I had used the Take 5 near Alameda St a few months earlier with a great experience. This was not that at all. There was only one vehicle in the bay in front of me when I pulled up. I waited about 15 to 20 minutes before any one came out to check on what I wanted to do. I told them that I had a receipt from my earlier trip and wanted the exact same thing and I have a $15 off coupon that had been texted to me. The attendant would not even look at the receipt and said all that would show up when they scanned my VIN. I finally got inside and told them the same thing that I wanted exactly my previous purchase. I asked why it took so long for the earlier car and they said they were short one person, yet an employee was walking around outside the building for several minutes. Not directing cars, just strolling around doing nothing. Much of my issue was tied to their computer systems not working properly and taking forever to recognize anything. They were about to put in full synthetic oil which I never asked for and did not want due to the extra cost. I explained what I wanted which was the synthetic blend. They did show me my the air filter which I knew was fine and they did say that also. Sort of suggested a $101 coolant flush which I declined also. Their system would not recognize or accept my valid coupon and they didn't seem too concerned about that. They tried it on all three computers there and no luck on anything. It took about 20 minutes after the job was finished to even get the amount owed. They finally said they would give me half off my next oil change due to the excessive time and not allowing my coupon. Ended up giving me a business card with $20 off written on it. Most of the delays were due to some new software program they had changed to, but 55 minutes seems too long at a supposed quick oil change place. The employees were polite enough and were trying to get everything sorted out, but corporate really needs to iron out this new system. I don't fault the guys for trying up upsell the service and I suspect that is part of the business model. I'll give Take 5 another try in a few months and hopefully that trip will go smoother..

Very knowledgeable technicians who helped me and took care of my car issues very quickly and even going beyond and letting me know I have some issues I should probably get checked out by full service technicians.

This was only the second time in my life that I've paid to have oil and filters changed in my vehicle and the employees did good work. The were courteous, knew their jobs, and before installing the new parts, explained what specific oil and filters would be installed. Additionally, the employees showed me the replaced air filters so I could see that the replacements were necessary and not to increase the overall cost of services andThe only change in service procedure I would suggest is that after the customer confirms the specific products to be purchased that the customer be informed of the total price before the work begins.

They were very knowledgeable and friendly. I always get great service when I go to Big Five in any state.
