I contacted Leslie to see if she would cosider buying an oil painting. She asked that I send a photo, dimensions, and at what price I would sell the painting. I sent her the information she requested.
When i called back she was very abrupt stating she was busy. If you are needing immediate service she is not your go to girl. She appears to be very over whelmed and stressed. You will need patience.

Stopped in to pick up the '2024 calendar and ended up staying over two hours! So much to see & incredible inventory. It was close to closing so she invited me to see another location she has art in on campus. Boyd Street - WOW!!! Anyone interested in Native Art, Turquoise Jewelry or pottery should see these places. I purchased Kelly Haney & Mopope originals and a Marie & Julian pot! Also... left with several Made in Oklahoma items & goodies! Pricing is excellent & in all ranges. Thank you for a wonderful experience. My collection is growing

What do you mean you arent sure I'm not dirt under your feet? WHO has an attitude like that, and what on earth for?? Also, the two of you acted like Border Control, and not store keepers! You have 0 rights to treat someone like that and I'm sure the camera would have caught your bigotry, and WOW, B, the arrogant and agressive attitude was exceedingly ignorant! REALLY, I was very good at making an exit all on my own, and , yeah, someone has to get your attention to unlock the door or you DO KEEP IT LOCKED! I went a couple stores down and bought a bike cap, no problem at all there!

Now that I've had some time to reflect on my most recent trip to Norman, Oklahoma - I want to share the incredible experience my wife and I had at Tribes Gallery. This isn't your run-of-the-mill gallery.Upon entering, walls are adorned with original native people’s art, including sculptures and tribal-specific items. One could get lost in this gallery, or shall we say museum, with the intricacy and detail of each piece.I was honored to see the great work of Harvey Pratt and Carl Sweezy and notably felt a sense of connection with these two artists (Hinono'ei). Throughout the gallery, there are hundreds of pieces, mostly original. One could quickly lose track of time marveling at and appreciating the beauty and colors chosen to create these one-of-a-kind native peoples’ art. After a while, you get a sense of the style each artist determines and the personalization they have with their work. It's genuinely a fantastic store.Let us get to the true gem of this location - Leslie!Leslie, you were the most gracious host for our time in your store; what a rarity to find someone genuinely kind and knowledgeable about native people’s art and the artists who have provided their work. We shared so much during that HOT afternoon; time slipped by us without notice. Thank you for the hospitality. Thank you for the calendar (and the bag of goodies). More importantly, thank you for sharing the moment, the human connection, with you specifically.I hope to see you during my next visit to Norman, OK.

A great little gallery. I've just started collecting native American art and found Leslie to be very knowledgeable and a delight to work with. She recently helped me acquire an original oil that I was able to pay for over a three month period. I look forward to purchasing more pieces in the near future. Thanks Much.

Interesting space dedicated to Native American art and its artists, including and above all listed ones. Don't expect the $20 square to take home, but higher prices. To be visited as an interesting exhibition itinerary, a small art gallery (mainly this is), even if the exhibition spaces are not ideal. Perhaps not everyone knows that there is also jewelery and it will be difficult not to buy a pair of earrings.
