We used them to get maintenance done on our bikes. They were done in a day and repaired only what needed repaired. I appreciate that I was able to just drop in with the bikes. Great customer service.

Great group of dudes here, very knowledgeable and not your typical “bike shop” mentality. They got our 3 YT’s tuned up and riding much better in a quick turn around! Great attitudes, good customer experience. Thanks fellas

I've been here 5 minutes, and I was greeted warmly, they got the stem off my seat and cut it down like it needed. The cool vibe and kindness culture is off the charts. In contrast, the place over off 50th and N. May treated us with an odd disrespect and contempt for asking a light question after dropping $240 on a repair. I feel like I've discovered what a real neighborhood shop should be.

Very helpful staff. I came in with my baby and stroller in tow and the staff came to help me immediately. They fixed my stroller wheel for an extremely fair price, and then even carried it out to my car for me. Also had a cute little retro area to hang out in while they did the repair. Will def do business here again.

(TLDR below. This review is geared in particular toward women who dislike going to bike shops. Because, when I was searching for a shop, I heard the same thing from all the women I asked which was, “lol yeah bike shops are the worst.”)Like many, I get stressed about going to bike shops (I have known one too many rude and downright abusive, big-ego bike bros) so I put off getting my bike fixed for ages (because of the high probability of interacting with condescending men). I wasn’t able to get the right parts to fix it myself and don’t have a lot of bike fixing experience and dreaded the whole thing. Al’s was swell! I was still anxious but it was not unpleasant! I spoke with a guy (whose name I can’t remember, sorry!) who was really chill and did not make me feel like a nincompoop. There was also a woman working there, with whom I didn’t speak much but she seemed cool and it made me feel better about the whole thing. They were great with my bike and everything and it was not as expensive as I thought and all that good stuff, but most importantly, I did not leave feeling either enraged or stupid. Maybe it seems like a pretty low bar, but anyone out there who’s had a bad time at bike shops can probably relate and I wasn’t able to find reviews that addressed this issue. Hopefully the culture has just changed and I’m out of touch because I avoided bike shops for years and I’ll still probably avoid bike shops, but when it’s unavoidable I shall go to Al’s. This review can make no promises obv and it’s based on a single experience (of a white, cis woman), but it seems like a welcoming place. I am surprised how difficult it is to find stuff about this since record stores and comic book shops have been through a bit of a reckoning over the same kinds of toxicity lately….To the Al’s- Thank y’all for your help! So jazzed to get riding! You should add “not jerks to women” to your advertising because it is BEYOND APPRECIATED. I literally cried, I was so relieved.TLDR; people here are nice and will not make you feel like a dummy! Good, fair prices.

These guys are great. I put the front wheel on my handcycle back on incorrectly and this caused the shifter cable to get pulled around. I took it in to them and they had me squared away in barely a few hours at minimal cost. I am thoroughly impressed with the expertise and quality of their service. I'm sure my oddball 20 year old handcycle was a challenge.

Bought a bike for myself for my birthday last year and it’s the best present I ever bought! Great service- I got a couple of flats- Ryan and Jamar would have me set up and back on my way. Very reasonable prices, but the service is why you should buy from here, those guys are great!

Bought a great Kona MTB from them a few months ago, and needed to get some adjustments made after riding it a bit. They shortened the width of the handlebars to my specs, redid the cables, and tuned up the bike for no charge. Despite being incredibly busy, they got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Plus, no charge and they are always incredibly nice and helpful. They have my business forever...
