We went to look at beds and was helped by Brandon Scott, he was very helpful and a good respectful salesman he gave us options and gave us room to talk about it and discuss things he wasn’t pushy and was very understanding. He helped us figure out what we wanted and we ended up buying a purple mattress.

We have purchased several items of furniture from the Ashley home store. We’ve always been pleased. However, that drastically changed in Dec 2023. We special ordered a brown sectional. This purchase has been the most frustrating and complicated purchase we’ve ever had anywhere1. There was no communication from the store throughout the entire process. We had to always call them and received a rude individual in customer service2. The deliveries were not made during the scheduled delivery times. My husband stayed home from work to receive the delivery. We were never contacted to say they would be late. when we called were rudely told they couldn’t tell us when it would arrive. It arrived over 2 hours after the scheduled time3. The furniture was significantly damaged when it arrived. We were told the store would contact us that evening or the next day to order a new piece. No one ever called. We called them and were told they would pick up the damaged piece and repair it locally.4. We requested a new piece vs a damaged repaired piece. The manager refused.5. 2 1/2 months after we purchased the sectional the damaged piece was picked up for repair.6. Customer service wanted us to sign a contract charging us for the pick up of the damaged piece and the delivery. We refused. My husband rewrote the contract which they agreed to7. The brown sectional we ordered arrived in gray. They couldn’t locate the color we thought we’d ordered. We agreed to keep the gray as this was the only color they could now get in this sectional.Positives: our sales person, Wes, tried to intervene on our behalf. The people delivering and picking up the furniture were very helpful and apologized for lateness. They said we should have been calledI will never shop at Ashley again. The lack of communication, the rudeness of Loren in customer service, the refusal to order a new piece they damaged instead of ordering a new piece from the manufacturer was beyond frustrating.

Highly recommend Brandon! He made buying an all new living room set so painless. Not only did he listen and try to find what was best to suited us, but he was never pushy or just trying to make a sale. He was genuine and we will definitely be back as we continue to remodel our home.

EM was the star of this visit. First coming here looking for a specific type of bed frame. EM found us exactly what we wanted. She was amazing to work with, very polite and helpful! Would definitely recommend this store and her specifically.

I would not recommend this location at all, and my experience somewhat mirrors Mr. Mitchell’s in his review.I went into the store to purchase a round dining table and set of chairs. I had looked online and knew the set I wanted. It was on display in the store and in stock at their warehouse off Reno and available for me to pick up or have delivered.The table was separate, and the chairs were sold in two packs…not a special bundle sale, but literally packaged as a pair at the manufacturer with combined assembly hardware, etc. This is relevant later.Upon checkout, I was quoted a price nearly $500 higher than it should have been. When I questioned it, I was told that the tagged price for the chairs was PER CHAIR, despite that price being exactly what the website showed AND the tag clearly stating “2/CN” (two per carton).Salesman was new, so he called over a ‘manager’ who then walked away to call another manager named Katelyn because they refused to honor the clearly tagged price OR the nearly identical price on their own website. ‘Manager’ came back and said that Katelyn would only honor the tagged price and nearly identical website price if I purchased the Protection Plan AND their membership. Keep in mind none of the pricing I mentioned above was the member price…it was all the higher non-member price. When I told them I would just buy it online instead, the ‘manager’ argued with me that I would be required to buy the membership online, which is categorically incorrect.I left, ordered online, and had it delivered. Clearly there are some very serious integrity issues at this location.

On 4/24/2021 I ordered an Ashley dinner server from Ashley HomeStore. I ordered it online and worked with a salesperson named Will. Will said the item was not available in Oklahoma City until late June, but it was available in Tulsa. I paid an extra $40 for a transfer fee to have it transported from Tulsa. Will indicated this would only take a couple of days. He said I would receive a call when it’s in Oklahoma City to set up delivery. The estimated delivery date on the receipt was 5/8/2021, but Will indicated it would be much sooner. On 5/14/2021, I called Mathis Brothers because I had not been contacted about delivery. I talked to Holly, who then connected me to Will, my original salesperson. Will indicated they just received the item and could deliver 5/16/2021. I agreed to the delivery, but wanted to speak to a manager because the process was supposed to be much quicker. Will said the manager was on another line and would get back to me that day. The manager did not call back that day, the next day, or the next day. The Ashley dinner server was not delivered 5/16/2021. I called someone on 5/16/2021. The person was in customer service, so I asked them some questions. I asked them how the process was supposed to work, when did the item arrive in Oklahoma City, and is a manager available. The process is the salesperson is supposed to contact the customer when the item arrives. The Ashley dinner server arrived in Oklahoma City on 4/28/2021, so Will did not contact me when the item arrived. A manager was not available (Sunday), but the customer service representative set up delivery for 5/18/2021. I called Mathis Brothers on 5/17/2021 to speak to manager. I was told one would call me back. A manager did call back within an hour and his name was Mark, I think. I told Mark what I needed to make it right. A refund of the $40 transfer fee and an additional consideration for the lack of communication and the customer having to call numerous times to make the transaction proceed. I was thinking an additional $50, so a total discount of $90. Mark indicated I was lucky to get what I received and he could not do anything else. Mathis Brothers did refund the $40 transfer fee and he said he would speak to Will about making sure he contacted customers when items arrive. My piece of furniture that I ordered had been sitting there for nearly a month and there was no indication that something was going to happen unless I called about the item. Will never apologized for the miscommunication and there was no reason given why I was not contacted when the item arrived. I’m very disappointed in Mathis Brothers/Ashley HomeStore online process. I have been going to Mathis Brothers for over 30 years and generally have very pleasant experiences when I go into the store.

I went to Ashley looking for a queen sleeper sofa. The salesperson Kyle was very friendly and helpful and provided me with information on each of the sleeper sofas he showed me. He was also great in getting me a good deal on the sleeper sofa I purchased. Kyle and his friendly demeanor and his humor are definitely an asset to Ashley.
