The car had yellow marks on some of the preexisting damage, but not on all. I am sure if i hadn't taken the damage waiver i would have received a bill. I had to change the battery in the key fob, but more importantly the wipers were both broken offering near zero visibility in a night time rainstorm that left us in a very dangerous situation. I guess "Budget" is in the name for a reason. This was my first and last experience with this company. Going back to Enterprise.

The pick up experience was good. The car was good. What I am not happy with is the "gas service." I did not pay for gas service in advance because my plan was to fill up the evening before returning the car. I did so and then drove under 19 miles to the airport at 4am. I dropped off the car, which was also easy. About 2 hours later I got my bill via email which included approx $50 in gas service. I am very unhappy with this because I essentially paid to fill the tank twice. I have no recourse because I am either at the mercy of a faulty gas gauge or a deceptive practice. Either way, I am out money that I do not believe that I should be. I do not know that I will use or recommend budget in the future.

The customer service was great, the prices were awesome! However the deposit was high ($250) with a credit card, and I haven’t gotten the deposit back and it’s now been a week since my rental was returned. I’d like my deposit returned upon returning the vehicle.

Car smelt life cigarettes bad. No had a headache the whole time. The gentleman checking me in told me two lies. The first was the coverage was just $31 dollar. But this was 31 dollars a day. Then he also said to not worry about putting gas in it they now will do it for me at $2.68 and it will save me a trip. But this was a lie and they charged me $75 for a full tank when I used only 1/4 tank which would have need $17 if I got the gas myself. Non ethical business practices.

I would give zero stars if I .couldThis was a terrible experience- misleading from the start. I rented the "mystery" car which stated it would be a small four door vehicle. Upon pickup was told that the "car" was a pickup truck. The agent was quick to point out that it had four doors. I didn't think that cars and trucks were in the same vehicle class. I have never driven a pickup truck and wasn't comfortable with that option. The only other car available was a SUV, which added an additional $15/day to my cost. The agent then asked if I wanted to prepay for my gas. I agreed, thinking that it would make the return process easier for me. What he failed to explain in any way was that I would be paying for an entire tank of gas and should return the vehicle on empty. I only used a quarter of a tank of gas. Budget used every opportunity to get more money out of me. I will never rent from them again.

I did not receive the car I requested and paid for. Stains were all throughout the car and I did not receive the car with a full tank of gas. Car wasn’t washed when I got it, it was still dirty on the outside

Super friendly rental rep at OKC airport. Got me an awesome, immaculate, low miles, and very fun Dodge Challenger. Check-in rep was also very friendly and efficient. Five stars!

I rented a car from budget rental for my trip to Illinois. They rented me an Equinox which was wonderful to drive. We had a great time and it was very fuel-efficient. And with gas prices being $3.50 to $4.00 per gallon, that's very much appreciated.The staff was very nice, and very professional.I'm looking forward to renting a car again next vacation.I recommend Budget Rental Cars to anyone looking for a nice car at reasonable prices.

Easy peazy...the lady was very helpful and friendly. My mom has leg issues so the lady was kind enough to go out to the car. Also, the car was nice and clean. This place was very busy, but the representative got through with them efficiently.

2stars: 1 for location and 1 for mediocre staff. Vehicle was filthy inside and out, with scratches. Vague about charges on receipt, and apparently my prepaid gas is $20more than what I normally pay for the same type of vehicle with Enterprise. Won’t be booking Budget/Avis again after my experience with them at this location.

Budget rented me a car with a broken AC system during a dangerous heatwave in Oklahoma. The AC broke halfway between picking up my car in OKC to my destination. It took me three hours to get to a real person in customer service and even then they told me that they would charge me to deliver a replacement vehicle! They then said that they wouldn't deliver a vehicle and that I would have to drive the vehicle over 1 hour and 15 minutes in 113 degree heat to another Budget rental counter to exchange it...so that's what I did! I felt like I was going to pass out multiple times and I was extremely dehydrated. I had to pull over twice to go into gas stations to cool down, and at one gas station I spoke with an Oklahoma Highway Patrol officer and explained my situation. He was appalled that Budget would place one of their customers at such risk. He explained that they would regularly write tickets for parents or pet owners who left kids or pets in hot cars...and that at the temperatures on that day meant that the interior of the car was well in excess of 135 degrees! I filed a formal report/complaint with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and I am hoping that they will follow up with charges of criminal neglect against Budget.I arrived at the Lawton, OK Budget rental counter around 5:00 pm where I had to wait in line for 20 minutes before I was served. I was dizzy, lightheaded and dehydrated. In fact an airport security office asked me if I would like medical assistance because it was clear that I was not feeling well at all!Although I survived this experience, I was appalled at Budget's lack of concern for customer safety! The blatant disregard that Budget had for me by renting out a vehicle that didn't have a working AC system during a dangerous heat wave was irresponsible. The fact that it took me over 3 hours to speak to someone in customer service was unprofessional. And, finally, the fact that Budget's customer service required me to drive over 1 hour and 15 minutes in a broken vehicle on a day when the temperature was over 113 degrees (see photos!) was extremely dangerous and demonstrated a blatant disregard for basic safety. This experience has helped me recognize that Budget's service standards are appalling and that renting from Budget is literally dangerous! I have used Budget regularly for my car rental needs over the past 15 years, but after this experience I will NEVER rent from Budget again and I will be encouraging my friends and family to also avoid using Budget because of their lack of customer service and complete disregard for basic customer safety.

Was given a "free upgrade" to car with significant body damage, that had not been cleaned inside. There was what looked like a snot rocket on the glove box, what looked like throw up on the back seat and a hair clip left on the handle above the door. Worst car rental ever.

The rental process was extremely easy and the customer service rep was amazing! We arrived after a long flight delay and were exhausted. She was quick to help us and get us on our way with a great attitude! Added bonus, we did the mystery vehicle deal and were given a brand new Grand Cherokee to drive which was very nice. Highly recommend Budget from OKC Airport!!!

My luxury car that i booked 6 months in advance wasn't available, i purchased thru Expedia, they swapped me out for a SUV which was fine, but the car was problematic even tho it was new!! The battery came loose while driving on the highway!! Tires were imbalanced!! Then while picking up the customer service claimed that i needed there insurance because the insurance i previously purchased thru Expedia doesn't cover hail damage which is a common occurrence, the employee told me i would be able to get a refund for the coverage from Expedia, found out thru Expedia that its only refundable if they don't except the policy, which they did so i got cornered into getting double coverage. Totally dissatisfied with the whole experience and will likely not rent from budget again.

Staff at the fastbreak counter was really helpful and friendly. I had booked the wrong day (one day off) but she accommodated and made the adjustment right there. However the car I received was dirty (see pics). Otherwise, great experience!
