Contains mostly coffee table books for Karens to read and lecture you via word diarrhea. The store's layout and the interior design are pretty cool. So kudos for that. The books here are almost all non-academic level or currently trending. Mainly they sell books with cool cover design to make these hipsters feel like they are about gain wisdom at a galactic level.

Cute! Love the layout and how inviting it is! Plenty to peruse and plenty of places to sit and linger. Definitely want to come back for a date at the adjoining eatery! Parking is easy across the the street and there’s a cute outside sitting area as well as seen in pic shared.

I am so glad I found this cute book store. As soon as I walked in I fell in love. I love how the store smelled so good & how some candles were lit. Also, I liked how friendly the staff are & I felt welcomed. I will definitely be back ☺️Ooh I forgot to ask if there was any true crime book but I will ask next time.

Selection is quite limited and prices are on the higher side. The philosophy/theology side were oddly consistent, with several works of Scruton represented across two separate domains. Merton and Berry were also consistently represented, along with several books on or about the Western Canon. I’ve been in several independent and corporate stores, and that particular selection is striking. Fiction selection is limited with several anthologies representing classic authors. Everything else seemed to be made for coffee tables. If I lived in OKC, I would be a frequent shopper here, but beyond their limited selection and high prices I can’t give more than 3 stars.

Unimpressed. This is a bookstore with barely concealed religious leanings/bias. They have tables filled with religious books with a tiny fiction section (ironically selling Stephen King among the Christian books, which I found funny). One of the employees explained that if I saw more religious books it's because the owners are religious. Suddenly, it all made sense. This person was not only dismissive, rude, and unprofessional, but obnoxious in their approach to any kind of customer service. Not a good experience. Not recommended. Go to Full Circle Bookstore instead. Bigger selection, far nicer people.

Commonplace is a great bookstore for the new release or the long classic! The environment is great and the people are friendly, and sometimes a friendly shop dog. Located adjacent and connected to a coffee shop it is a great place to grab a new read and great cup of coffee!

I didn’t need any books today but I always need a bookstore. The shop smelled so good when I walked in that I bought some of the candles they were burning. I’ll be back when it’s time for a new book.

Picked up a book today that I had ordered online for my neighborhood book club and the guy that helped me was extremely rude. He was bothered that he had to grab it and made little effort to appear welcoming. I am ALL for buying local but would like to support an establishment that takes pride in great customer service.

Super cute bookstore with a great vibe! Lots of coffee table books and just high quality books. Their kids section is one of my favorites!

Normally I like this place but the new layout is not it. All the comfy reading chairs are gone. Less shelving to make room for a giant cashier table. It feels like they're moving their focus more towards gifts, not books. And that's disappointing. They usually have a stack of free books and you can take one with your purchase, but on my last visit it wasn't there. I hope that doesn't mean they're not doing that anymore. It's the biggest reason I go here.Sorry for the harsh rating, I'm just bummed out.

In a city of no-places this bookstore is a place. Every time I come in I spend ~30 minutes just looking--the books are so well curated I always find something new and fascinating (I come in to wander--though on the rare occasion I'm looking for a specific book they usually have it). The children's books are especially beautiful--routinely rotating ones I haven't seen with beautiful illustrations so that I always end up with one or two for my two year old. Large spacious couches to read (and little toad stool pillows for my son to roll around). Truly excellent. Go here.
