⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ General Dollar Stores (Family Dollar, Dollar General, etc.)
All these dollar stores are unsung heroes. Family Dollar, Dollar General—they fill the gaps when no one else will. Especially in food deserts or places where the nearest grocery store is miles away. They’ve become the backbone of communities that big box stores often overlook.
Are they perfect? No. But they’re present. And for people living check to check, raising families, taking care of elders, or just starting over, that presence is life-saving.
We see you. We appreciate you. You’re more than just stores—you’re survival hubs.

Chris was unhelpful and rude. I called because I had purchased several groceries and was missing part of my purchase. I was having connectivity issues so I accidentally cut him off a couple of times and I think he took it personally and began to be rude to me. He stated that if I did not have a receipt he could not help me, when I suggested that they look at the cameras and I can pull up the charge on my bank card they can see video evidence of my purchase he repeated himself and asked me to think about how many hours of camera footage that is to go through. The cashier that night had a guest I assume who was hanging around the bagging area and left his eggs on the bagging area as we were trying to check out. I was uneasy with this and I must have forgotten to grab my Oreos. The cashier would remember such a mistake as leaving behind part of my order. I'm just disappointed by the lack of assistance and unwillingness to make it right.

Lady was really rude. The store opened at 8am and she kept it closed for an extra 15 minutes with a parking lot of customers

If I could give zero I would. Worst place ever. Employees are rude, their equipment doesn't work. The chip reader is broken and somehow that was my fault because I didn't bank with chase which is apparently one the cashier knows don't have issues. When I asked what my bank had to do with it she popped off with, "well, first of all" then continued to tell me how it's my fault that their equipment is garbage and they are too cheap to repair it. Seriously the most bizarre enteraction ever. I'm positive the cashier is on drugs. Overall, do NOT recommend.
