Did you know that Penny items are pulled before they open the store? If you find a penny item that should have been pulled, the person who missed that item can get a write-up for it? I swear I learn something new every day.

Just needed two things some Splenda creamer and some apple juice the small six pack. Both products were expired. When I went to return them those products were still on the shelves.. Look at the dates people.

Was there last night doors where locked early 15 minutes before they are supposed to closeLet in got 2 things needed and watched the night manager give customers the finger as they were leaving . Is this how dollar general does business now

tonight was another awful experience at the dollar general off 15th and near Sunnylane, we come in with about 12min just to get 2 items. We are greeted by the blond woman trying to lock us out and I tell her “you can’t do that we have 12 min, we just need 2 things.” She’s extremely rude but lets us in. Then I noticed she locked the door and went across to the register. As you can see customer trying to get out, the sign is blocking but she had to unlock it then push it open while the “night manager as she called herself (the blond)” stand at the register doing nothing to help, even after we bought to her attention someone was trying to get out. As my and my mom are walking out we are talking to each other about what just happened. When that “manager” came to the door flipped us off then proceeded to cuss us up and down. Sadly I didn’t get if on video it was unexpected and shook us up.
I hope you get what’s coming to you and they finally get rid of you. She’s done the same thing when we had 15 min. It just didn’t exalt like this time.

Store is filthy, smells and looks like it was hit with a tornado. It's under staffed with employees that could care less about customer service. Avoid this dump!

This DG was nice, but over the past 6 months it has turned into a 3rd world bodega..the floors are full of trash, 3 shades darker than the normal light brown polished concrete cause they stopped mopping.., broken products.. black sticky spots all over the floors, nothing is ever in stock, only a 3rd of the freezer section has anything in them, and the current workers are rude, with bad hygiene..the dark haired male is on drugs and very hostile..his pupils are basically non existent..I'm taking my business to the family dollar directly west of this location...sad that this is allowed..what has hapoend to this location

With in this store at 5:15p. On Tuesday a young man work there checking us out was not friendly at all, very bad ,we tried joking with him he was just haveing it sickening person. Why do you all have this person working In the store ?

If I could give this place minus zero stars, I would. The employees are never friendly, they always try to make it look like they are working, but really, they're standing around doing absolutely nothing, and it shows. They put signs on the door on weekends that say they cannot scan the coupon that is always eligible for use on Saturdays. They close the doors early. You go in this place, and the shelves are bare. They either don't know how to create orders and keep track of inventory, or they are too lazy to put the stock out on the shelves. I suspect it's both. It's plain as the dull look on their faces that they don't care, they have no pride in their work, and in fact, they hate it. It's like 'Corporate' took every loser who applied and placed them at this location. Like, they can't mix it up. Dale Carnegie taught that you get 80% of your work from 20% of your employees, but this place is even lacking the 20%! You can't walk through this store, and I will go so far as to say that it's a liability. It's a matter of time before someone trips and falls flat on their face. I suspect the pay is low, and perhaps there is resentment due to gross imbalance of pay vs amount of work required to keep the store the way it should be, but it might be wise for Corporate to rethink that strategy because it's not working. They have to be losing vast amounts of money. I don't understand how these doors stay open. My photos were taken the same day I created this review.

normally this is my goto store as it's in my neighborhood. but there has been a degradation of cleanliness, clerk attitude, etc... often the doors are locked during operating hours (i.e. 8:15am with cars in lot and doors are still locked)

Went into the store yesterday and the floors are disgusting, shelves are falling apart, there is items on the floor and it smells.you can most definitely tell the old manager is gone.
Last week I went in to get something and the staff was on her cell phone the whole entire time and rude .pictures are just piled up, it is very clear staff just doesn't care

November 7th 2023 4:35 pm I went in to purchase the item that was posted at the wrong price is supposed to be a got over charged wait told the manger and she ran and pulled the stickers off false advertisement I wish I would have took a picture I would be suing you and then get an attitude with me just because I pointed something out is this how you do business this store is going to go to the gutter because of the manager that you have running it she don't seem to care about what's going on I said suggest you look up the the video she broke the law I don't know her name but there's going to be a lawsuit opened up and I'll be pulling the security footage
