At 12:05 AM on the 4th my account was positive. At 12:30 AM my account was negative. I ran to the atm to make a cash deposit within a couple hours. By 3 AM my account was in the positive. When I signed up for this account, I was told that if you overdraft and take care of it within 24 hours, the overdraft fee would be waived. It only sticks after you have left it like that for 24 hours. That was my understanding because that was what was told to me. And that’s the way it’s been since I’ve been client here. Instead, they dated the overdraft a day earlier than when it actually went through. On my account it shows that it actually went through the day before but I wasn’t notified for 24 hours. So, if you want to bank that’s going to notify you 24 hours after something happens instead of when you should know… Like right away, this is the bank for you. I was in love with this Bank until this happened. I tried calling and talking to somebody that I thought I liked, but clearly I have a change of taste after the last conversation I had with her. If you want to go to a bank that is going to Erroneously and retroactively date your debits so that they can put more money in their pockets from overdraft fees, this is the bank for you. The entire year I spoke highly of the bank. I thought I finally found one that I was going to stick with for the rest of my life. But after today I will be looking for a new one. And I will no longer be talking highly of this place. I won business of the year for ethics in 2019 for the nation. I think that gives me a little weight when deciding if somebody is operating unethically. I think I know the meaning. If you are not going to honor your promises, don’t make them. Is that simple enough ? It is. As far as the rest, if you want a bank that is going to offer you a overdraft protection that’s going to charge you $30+ for bank errors in time stamping technicalities, then go for it. I think you might want to either opt out for it, or ask them to put everything in writing. That’s right in writing like the way I have it, which says you have until the end of business day rectify the account. If you rectify the account by the end of the business day, you are not levied a fee. The fee would be reversed. I reversed the account myself. I put it back into the positive with in a couple of hours, and I’m still being told that I didn’t do it before it closed the day before. They didn’t notify me of a negative balance until, the fourth which is today. The notified me on the fourth, within 30 minutes I started putting money back into the account and within two hours I was positive. Yet, they’re talking about the day before because their system put a date on it that didn’t reflect the actual time they notified me at all. They notified me on the fourth, but it says the third on the notes. This happened yesterday I have proof that I was in the positive balance all day yesterday. How is that possible? It’s really good question.

Always nice, professional and helpful service. Customer service via phone or text is incredibly efficient as well. Wouldn’t want another bank here!

This is a review of one of the worst customer service reps, the Dolores Umbridge of FFB, also known as Debbie Birch. Literally the most unpleasant person to deal with. I've had the gut wrenching displeasure dealing with this creature twice now this year, each experience more disgusting than the last. For this one person, I would recommend ANY bank other than this one. The FFB culture has to be suffering from this one.Literally every other person I've dealt with has been awesome and pleasant, no complaints against them.Maybe consider not having this Ilse Koch impersonater in positions of authority?
