I have gone to NHV for years.I took my dog in recently for annual vaccines where he caught an upper respiratory infection. When I called back for help with his sickness they were short with me saying my dog didn't catch it there. They did offer "cough pills" that they charged me for. I ended up taking him to another vet, after 4 days of non-stop coughing & hacking, where he was diagnosed with kennel cough. It cost me almost $700 to test, x-rays, & meds. When I told NHV about the positive test, they front office guy said he would make sure the vet knew about it. I never heard from anyone! It's pretty clear this vet does not care about my pets. I will not return.

Had been going there for 20 years, Dr. Bowles was great. Since then the service has become less than favorable. Money seems to be the motivating factor.

My baby girl Sophia absolutely loves it here and so do I. I do miss Dr B but the new vet is a sweet heart and knows what she's doing and has taken very good care of my baby girl!!

This place is notorious for being so busy it affects customer service and care. I called last week to just ask a question, and of course, they wanted me to bring my dog in. Fine. They told me they’re only doing curbside appointments. I told them I’d figure something else out. The world has opened back up, so why are we still doing this? I think they got comfortable with not having to deal with customers and it’s easier for them just so see the dog and send it back out. My dog isn’t an item to be dropped off. She gets very anxious the minute we pull up, because she knows where we are. I want to be there with her every step of the way. If it’s something like a surgery, I understand, but not a simple appointment. More importantly, I want to SEE my vet. I want to ask questions, and explain to them what happening to my dog. I’m not gonna give a list concerns to the vet tech and hope she remembers to ask them. I’ve been taking my dog here for about 7-8 years. This is a little ridiculous that they’re still doing this. I’m gonna go somewhere else.

Great experience! Dr. Craft was kind and allowed my dog to have a peanut butter treat during his exam. The office staff was amazing. It was easy to schedule and they called my previous vet for records to ensure our dog was getting the best treatment!

We’ve been going to NHV for years. We loved Dr. Bowles, and we’ve been very happy with Dr. Robertson since they brought her on several years ago. We were sad to see Dr. Bowles retire and miss some of the front desk staff we knew so well…and the curbside drop off/pickup can be cumbersome, but I trust this too shall pass. Bottom line, our pups are still getting excellent care. One of our dogs recently needed emergency surgery and they got him right in and took care of the problem. They communicated with us throughout and made sure we were comfortable with his after care. The staff even called to check in on him while he was recuperating at home. THAT is what makes this place great. I feel like they actually care about my dogs.

I am just absolutely sickened by a review I read from Tracy Blessing about this pet clinic! I cannot believe a vet would sedate an animal because they can't examine him immediately -- and without the owner's knowledge -- and an elderly animal! I was planning on calling this vet for my cat and I had no idea they had changed management. I'm so glad I read the Google reviews first. Thank you so much for posting your review, Tracy Blessing. And the veterinarian's snarky unprofessional reply showed that what she said really happened. The Oklahoma State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners needs to be alerted to this!

This was a great place to go about ten years ago. Now with new vets and new staff it's just a money making scheme. No longer do they care about you or your pet. My dog went for annual vaccinations and they said they heard a heart murmor. So I explained I wanted her teeth checked out and possible extraction. They said bring her back in we will listen to her again to see if she is a candidate for teeth extraction. They said if she checks out ok they will call me to discuss the prices and do the extraction. So I dropped her off at 8:00 am and after all day I called at 4:10pm. I asked if she had had the teeth pulled they said no they have good news. They did blood work an ekg and two more tests to rule out a heart murmur and total was 380.00 and to schedule the extraction. So they did 380 dollars worth of heart tests to tell me she did not have a heart murmur?? Without calling me to approve these tests? I paid it and they said I get a credit for the bloodwork if I decide to schedule the extraction. I thought the extraction was today!! No one ever called me. I had to call them!! Not ever going back. Great way to make money. Tell people their dog has a murmur and needs more tests then miraculously gone. Too sketchy. I knew they were liars when the vet called and said she looks great no murmur and blood looks great. Then when I spoke to the biller he said that she has a slight murmur. I just got ripped off 380.00.

Drs. Roberston and Kraft are outstanding and knowledgeable veterinarians. When my pets are in their care, I know that we will be treated with compassion and respect. I am thankful for all that they, and their caring staff do on a daily basis to care for people and their pets.

After two visits for diarrhea and nausea where we explained the difficulty in getting this dog to eat oral medication due to the nausea our problem was not resolved giving us 7 days and nights of the continued problem where we tried to contact them on a Saturday and a Tuesday where the call rolled to another clinic and due to the fact that they refused to provide another form of medicine for a dog with nausea we have decided never to return to this clinic. This clinic used to be open on Saturdays when Dr. Bowles and Dr. Johnson were the vets. There has been a clear change under the new vets. None of the front desk staff seem to be the same either, which is a shame as well. I miss Doc Johnson and Doc Bowles!
