I ordered five nigiri and one Americanized sushi roll. The nigiri was well constructed. The slice of fish extended beyond the bed of rice which is typically more than you get in an American restaurant. The bed of rice was smaller than average and closer to the amount of rice you may receive in Japan. However, the fish was bland which is probably caused by their ageing process and the quality of the fish they used. The Americanized sushi roll was called the, "Mountain Roll". I don't normally order these types of rolls because I'm not a fan of their typical non-traditional ingredients (cream cheese, avocado, mango, fried or tempura ingredients, and mayo based sauces), but I was curious to see if the flavors may compliment each other well. The roll was good but I wasn't able to distinguish between the ingredients. I would have preferred a dynamic sense of flavours given all of the ingredients. The roll was also smaller in diameter than is typically served in a sushi restaurant in the U.S. It was probably an attempt to reduce the restaurant's cost.As one may tell if one has read this far, I am very selective with my choice of sushi and favor traditional Japanese sushi. I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the ingredients and will not return to this restaurant. However, if you are not concerned with receiving the highest quality sushi you may enjoy the food here.

The food is good across the board, but the dine-in atmosphere doesn't have much character. The service staff seems to know this as well, Ocean81 is definitely the type of place you should order online.

One star review because i was Charged 20% gratuity. The employee said it was noted in the menu. (The menu that you have to look at on your phone … guess a person needs to look at every single bit of writing on the menu to make sure your not being tricked into agreeing to come thing Menu states parties of 6 or more are charged 20%. My party had 4 people in it….

I came for lunch and got an appetizer and a single roll. The food was good. I like both the calamari and the OMG roll. However, my bill was over $40 for those two items and hot tea.No complaints about food or service, but it just wasn’t special enough to spend $50 after tip for lunch for one. I found everything on the menu to be high and don’t intend to go back.

Service and atmosphere was great, but food was awful ?I eat lunch bento box. (Beef and tempura shrimp, and spicy tuna, and fried rice) salad dressing was awful, tempura wasn’t really tempura, tempura sauce was taste like old sweet soy sauce. Spicy tuna was disgusting. Fried rice was bad too. How can it be everything so bad. I’m usually not so picky.I really not recommend eat any of above food.

The sushi is good, a bit on the small side for special rolls. I like the lesser amount of rice, but the fish was also a bit lacking. The tuna tower was amazing. They do not have physical menus, it's a QR code which is unfortunate. Navigating a large menu on a phone is not great.

Very expensive prices, small portions, average price of sushi rolls are $14. We paid $18 for 1 roll. They have rolls in the $10-$12 range but, they aren't on the menu and you have to ask specifically for them. Our waitress informed us that their usual customers are rich people that live in the area. We usually spend $70 at other local sushi restaurants but, we ended up only spending $49. Just wasn't a great experience.

The service and environment were great. We had a wonderful server who tended to our wants and questions with great knowledge. The quality of the food was not matched to the pricing, in my opinion. Overall, it was a great meal and experience, just not for the pricing they listed.

The ambience in here is very dim yet pretty it can be used for a family outing or a date night. The food is absolutely delicious. I love doing the sushi rolls every time I go. I'm trying something new and customer service is really nice. They are friendly and very helpful.
