February 2024 by I'm Tiny Rick!
Called to schedule an appointment. The earliest they can do is a week out, so I schedule the day off work. They even called the next day to verify my insurance info - everything seemed good. I show up and they tell me they don't have an appointment and they can't do anything. Complete lack of respect and a waste of my time. Ridiculous.

I was referred here to the 3rd floor for a mammogram. I think they need to abide by there own expectations on if you show up in time to your appointments then they should be on time. Nit make patients wait 40 minutes past their appointment times. Because if you're late 10 to 15 minutes you still get billed and then not be able to possibly not be allowed to come back. Not a very good impression.i had an appointment at 9 and 9:30 for scans. Now it makes me late for my 2nd scan.

A location housing many doctors offices. A great health care system.

Dr. Regens is the best! I had my baby in 2021 but she listened to me and was very caring! Only reason I'm giving 5 stars.

If you plan on being seen here, expect to see the ER more times a year than a visit with your Doctor, and if you do choose to go to the ER for an actual emergency; be prepared to wait 5 hours behind people who came in for a light cough. Constantly understaffed and there’s no sense of urgency.

I’ve made this hospital thousands of dollars with an Achilles surgery, septoplasty procedure, mri, x-rays, PT, etc. and they have continuously wasted my time and money. Took me months to reach the doctor I was seeing and a google review is the only thing that could get his attention. Every doctor I’ve seen at OU Med (ENT, Orthopedic, Family physician) has been outstanding in knowledge and care but every single one of their departments has had terrible service from their front desk. Billing is a nightmare as well. I have wasted hours on the phone being stuck in transfer purgatory. I doubt I will continue to be a patient at this hospital just for how incompetent their infrastructure is and greedy their higher ups are.

The doctors themselves are perfectly fine, Dr. Hirshburg was actually fantastic, in particular. But after dealing (for months now!) with billing and trying to get my medical records and bills under the correct name, (not my fault, my name has been the same for 15 years and I have only used my married name with OU Health, so I have no idea how they have somehow switched to my maiden name) I just made an appointment with my old provider in another town. OU is much closer, but I will just drive to see someone who at least will get my name right from now on.

Being a patient of this place is an absolute nightmare. They've been rescheduling my annual appointment for the last seven months now. Every time it's about to happen, I get a call that it's been canceled. I am the one who has to pursue getting it rescheduled, they don't just do that for me. Getting ahold of someone to do that is impossible. I have sat on hold for HOURS at this point. Literally nobody answers the phone, even when I call the number and extension in the voicemail. The messaging in the patient portal is no better. Nobody with functional communication skills seems to use that -- it takes days to get a response and there's always some piece of information missing and good f'ing luck getting someone to answer my questions on the messaging. It's kind of always been like this, but has gotten so, so, so much worse since the pandemic. It's a very real possibility I might not see my provider for another 6 months. The levels of disbelief are deep here -- no regard for customers, no regard for my need for care, no regard for the integrity of their institution.

OU Health/OU physicians is the worst health care organization in the Oklahoma City metro. I’m trying to get appointments with physicians and records for past visits. They almost seem like they are holding the records hostage. I have had much better relations with the other health care organizations in the area. I wouldn’t go back to OU Health/OU Physicians for a hang nail. I’d give them a zero star if it was an option.

Not very nice valet workers. Was coming out of the parking garage to pick up my mother and came into sort of a cluster. There was one person trying to turn around and they were waiting on me to move, but I was waiting on a man to cross the road. It was confusing. One of the valet workers yelled at me saying “They’re trying to turn around!” and I said “I know!” and he yelled back “So then why are you mad???” I said I wasn’t and he just kinda like rolled his eyes and shook his head. Not very kind and only added to the stress and confusion.

Kept me waiting on hold for an unreasonable amount of time over a simple billing question.

I was treated like a second class citizen, was rushed the Dr showed little concern for my medical conditions. The Dr was answering his text messages during my exam.
