They don't care about you here, no matter how loyal you are even with them changing doctors on you every couple of years. You will be treated as a chart, not a human. You're just a number to the nurses and doctors. They have no issue in making you feel like a problem when you ask questions or need help. If you don't call at the right time good luck getting an appointment within the month yet you have to see them in order to get prescriptions. They can take over a week to respond to your messages and refills. It isn't worth the time and patience to deal with how inept they are or how rude their nurses can be. Go elsewhere if you want true personalized care. Learning facilities are a nightmare.

Been pretty happy with the care our family has received over the 17 years we have been going there. Dr James Barrett especially presents an excellent level of care, knowledge, and proactiveness.

Called to schedule an appointment. The earliest they can do is a week out, so I schedule the day off work. They even called the next day to verify my insurance info - everything seemed good. I show up and they tell me they don't have an appointment and they can't do anything. Complete lack of respect and a waste of my time. Ridiculous.

I went to OU Family Medicine in January of 2024 and was BLOWN AWAY by the efficient, caring, and friendly service I received throughout my visit.I was there to get primary care established, as I’d only been seen at urgent care clinics or the ER since 2022. Staff were friendly in directing me to the right clinic. When I arrived, Kelly was the first to move me efficiently along in the process. She got me checked in, and a few minutes later I was in an exam room with my nurse, Kim. We discussed my reason for visiting and my health concerns briefly. Kim was super personable and ready to walk me through the process of signing up for the My Chart portal (DO IT! the portal is intuitive and provides an excellent interface). I’d already received a link to the portal and signed up with ease in a minute or so.Kim hustled off to help someone else, and I was quickly joined by Dr. Smiling. I had various health concerns to discuss, from a concerning skin issue, to discontinuing an anti-depressant safely, to wanting blood work to rule out any issues from previous lifestyle choices.Dr. Smiling was 100% present in our conversation and spent a surprising length of time listening carefully to me, asking and answering questions. We made plans for next steps, with referrals and lab work. He pulled another doc (Ramachrishnan?) in quickly for a brief consult, and then I was directed back to reception.Sierra was the helpful, friendly face who got me checked out and pointed me to the lab for the last of today’s care.I checked in at the lab and was promptly seen by Misty, whose fun personality was matched only by the quickness and ease with which she drew blood and sent me on my way.I had test tests back from various panels in under an hour, easily accessed through the portal. Dr. Smiling actually tried to call me later the same day to discuss! We had a bad connection, and a little while later, I had a message from him in the portal. He went briefly over test results in the message, addressing areas I’d had questions about when reading through my results ge let me know which results raised concerns and which didn’t, and he briefly addressed what I could do about those concerns.I saw an NP I adored for primary care in Ontario for five years. She worked out of a very good clinic. I got excellent care. But I’ve still never been WOWED like this before. From start to finish, the professionals around me were not only efficient and helpful, but friendly and engaging. I felt like the center of attention, like they were all here today just for me.The excellent portal is just the icing on the cake that staff at OU Famiy Medicine baked with their concern and attention. I’ll be moving to Norman next month, but I’ll continue to make the drive up to OU Medicine for care. I have to now; they’ve spoiled me.

In the process of leaving this office, I've never experienced a doctor's office that is ran the way that this one is. Taking my rather large toddler and having to hold her down myself while one person administers multiple shots. Seems ridiculous because it is. The doctor's great and I didn't have any issues with reception other than wait time.

What a horrible experience it took from November 20 till December 4th to have test results for a hand X-ray. The scheduling staff is an unprofessional joke they are rude, illiterate and curt to callers they switch your appointments with NO communication to the patient whatsoever! Who does that? The Dr spends more time reading the computer instead of listening to the patient! I'm still in pain and looking for a new doctor!

This health facility has steadily cancelled my visits and/or changed times on my appointments. Great disparity in health care.

absolutely 0 stars, have came here a few times after having my son and it’s always the longest wait! only appointment they had was a month away, a month later we get to this appointment scheduled for 1pm didn’t get brought to a room until 1:45, we didn’t leave until 3.absolutely ridiculous, especially when he was a newborn and having to wait that long was a nightmare

The doctors are amazing but the reception is useless. Every time you call, expect at least a 30 minute wait before your call is answered. Also expect the lady on the other line to already have an attitude before you’ve spoken a word. I called to have my son’s appointment rescheduled and explained my situation. Helpfulness was next to nothing. I’m not sure why the receptionists are so lack luster in performing their job well. Wish I would’ve known to look for a different clinic to see my newborn before all of this mess. Look for a different clinic if you can! Parents deserve an easy and smooth experience, not whatever this is.

WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS OH MY GOD. finally at the end of my FIRST pregnancy and hopefully i never have to come here again. I’m 39 weeks. they cancelled my 38th week appointment and when i tried to schedule for my 39th week appointment they didn’t let me schedule and told me if i had any concerns i needed to go to the ER. I have no idea what’s even going on at this point, i don’t know if i’m dilated and haven’t heart my baby girls heartbeat for almost 2 weeks now. I’ve been going here my whole 9 months and i think i’ve had maybe 2 appointments that weren’t cancelled and rescheduled. I also requested to please have the same doctor and that has yet to be established so here i am , due date is on sunday and i have no idea who is going to deliver my baby. I tried to give them chances but after 6 months of dealing with terrible communication and staff’s attitude i tried to leave. Turns out they mixed up my medical records with someone who has the same first name as me , sent birth control to my pharmacy and also put in my medical records that i had history of preeclampsia. I only found out they messed up my medical records when i requested them and sent them to a new OBGYN doctor and they advised me they could not take care of me because i was a high risk pregnancy. I was absolutely furious and confused. Showed up to this clinic for them to tell me they have no idea what i’m talking about. Had an appointment later that week and the doctor had advised me that they mixed of my medical records and to not “worry about that”. I am absolutely furious they have made my pregnancy a living hell. I tried to leave but could not even do that because THEY MESSED UP MY MEDICAL RECORDS. I ask the doctors to call me and that i have an emergency and i will never hear from them. it’s ridiculous how much they don’t care about their patients. especially their very vulnerable pregnant patients! if i had an option between either coming here for an appointment or tragically dying , consider my funeral PLANNED. This place absolutely disgusts me. I have even spoke with the Angela who is the nurse in charge and promised me there would be a change. 2 months later i would say there is a change and it only GOT WORSE. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT DOCTORS AND STAFF WHO CARE ABOUT YOU. DISGUSTING.

Tired of reposting the same review after they get it removed so here it is: 1 star. Greedy, poorly managed, and relatively unhelpful operation. The overall rating would probably be less than 2 if they didn’t delete reviews.

My appointment time was at 11:15 my ride did not pick me up until 11:19. I called the clinic and let them know that I would be late and I was informed I have a 15min window. Once I got there, at 11:32a. I checked in and the PSR told the MAs that my appointment time was at 10:15a not 11:15a so I overhear the nurse say "how does that work?" Well it doesn't because you were told the wrong appointment time. I was told to do a U/A and to go back and sit in the waiting room. Not in a room. I only came in for a nurse visit. Something that takes 15-20mins. NOT EVEN That long takes over an hour. I will try my luck with Integris. It was the blue clinic.
