What's next a cavity search before I can leave the store . Was watched by the the security guard as I was checking out showed my receipt had to open my bag good grief this place is like a prison. Im good on the Ross prison system.

I don't know if it's just this location but Ross doesn't care about their customers or employees. A girl had a guy get into her car in the parking lot and she made her story public and there were stabbings and other public stories. Ross needs to provide better protection not only for their customers but for employees too. I saw one cuss out the tall security and threatened him after he asked if he could see a receipt. People If you don't want to show your receipt just decline and walk away. I've never had an issue not showing my receipt. Businesses are allowed to ask for receipts but never seen them force anyone to show a receipt. They do have great deals and a great selection.

I wear size 13 shoes in men, it is impossible for me to ever find anywhere, since the selection was very few and the brand I was getting was not popular they would not work with me on 5 dollars less since it was barely any selection!!!! I'm never coming back to that location ever again, just lost a loyal customer over a shoe that didn't have a price

Why are the generic door greeters checking receipts and bags now? Security is literally right in front of checkout. The exit is right in front of checkout. Where am I gonna go to add things to my bag?

You saw me purchase ONE ITEM which was jeans , & you still have the audacity to ask for my receipt while blocking my exit AND making me open my bag so you can see the ONE ITEM in there . Were you not paying attention when I was at checkout ? I’ll definitely not be returning to any Ross ever again .

I picked up a few items there was no line at the check out the cashier with pink braids was talking to her coworker when I put my things on the counter she just continued her inappropriate conversation I had to finally say hello and acknowledge her to disrupt their conversation because I am the customer and deserve acknowledgement at the very least. The door guy was there watching the whole time and for whatever reason he asked to see my receipt. I was shocked and I had my hands full so I said yes it it in the bag you may get it and he said ma’am I need you to get the receipt. I said you just watched my whole transaction at the register my hand are full I’m giving you permission to get the receipt you refuse to get the receipt so I am leaving you may call the police if it’s that important and I walked out the door. I was so shook up literally shaking I had to sit in my car and calm down before I could drive I wish I would have just went back to the cashier and got a refund this is why everyone shops online cause public is rediculous

I normally love this Ross location. But I noticed they’re now checking receipts at the exit. this is going to start feeling like Walmart where you’re going to get harassed for shopping in the stores. There’s also no signage beforehand to say that this will happen at the end of your purchase and I don’t agree to this policy. there is no contract. I have signed with Ross no agreement I have made that I will agree to be inspected upon exiting, these practices do not make customers feel welcome or happy to shop there

They don’t know they aren’t a membership store it’s illegal to search or seize per the fourth amendment unless you saw me steal in person or on camera. You did not further more it’s not legal to stand in my way or touch my bag to look in it. You can’t check receipts or call the cops unless it’s real loss prevention you have proof of. If you get held that false imprisonment if they even block the door. Take care
