this used to be an amazing place where everybody was hard working and every time that I came over and was fast reliable service but this time was all a big mess
I have to bring the car two times for the same thing my car was giving me problems with the starter so the first time I told them sometimes it takes a long time for it to start so they replaced the battery terminals and charge me $385 second time I came and told them I need you to replace the starter because it is still doing the same and they charged me $536 so put together I pay over $900 to get my starter replaced like I say I don't mind paying what it's worth it but I really think this is the last time that I'm on Sal's 😞

Love this place went in for a non-auto repair just to see if it was possible. Took my part to the back came back fixed like new. With no charge even after trying to pay. Friendly staff highly recommend

Worst mechanic shop in Oklahoma! Nothing but crooks! Basically robbed me for $120.. i had already had my vehicle diagnosed at another shop and literally came in with the full print out. I was quoted under $400. Next morning drop my vehicle off at 8am and it was never touched. At 4:00 i stop by ask why hasn’t my vehicle been touched. The owner lied to my face telling me they took it to the back and looked at it but put it back where i left it as if im a idiot. Then around 6:00 when they closing they call me trying to charge me $2k for all kinds of other crazy stuff that no other place seen during their diagnosis. I refuse to do business with them and demanded my vehicle back. Then was charged a $120 diagnostics fee even though we agreed that my paperwork was all the diagnostic that was needed. A complete fraud!!! Nobody should ever do business there. When i dropped my vehicle off it was a disgruntled customer there complaining, i now see why.

How I became a Sal's customer:
Another company (rhymes with scaamco) did a transmission install for me. A few days later, the steering wheel doesn't seem to do anything until you make a medium turn. We take it back to that other shop and they say the rack and pinion bushings are bad and you have to replace the whole thing and control arms and yada yada. They quote $3200 to replace it with a new one.
I called around the city, trying to get ballpark estimates for rack & pinion replacements. Some shops seem annoyed to have to talk on the phone. Some didn't call back like they promised. Sal's was one of the few that was courteous and actually followed through on a call-back. It was a bonus that the price they quoted was lower than most.
A few weeks later, I get the car over to Sal's and ask them to verify the scope of work and give a formal estimate. They identified the issue, the CORRECT scope of work, and quoted me a very reasonable labor and parts price. I happily accepted, and they did an excellent job on it. It WAS a speedy repair, but that's not the mark of a good auto-shop in my book.
I will be taking my vehicles to Sal's from now on.

Place is great and affordable, and they do good work. Only issue is you can’t make an appointment and sometimes have to leave your car with them for a couple of days before they can work on it. Otherwise great shop.
