It is very seldom that I ever compliment customer service these days. That's because customer service as I know it hardly exists. I am writing this review to put a spotlight on Evonne at Secure Care on South Meridian. We encountered a couple small issues that took a while to remedy. She said she would handle it and I knew she would. She stayed on both issues until she got them fixed and then she called me and told me everything was fixed and life is good. In this day and age, excellent customer service and even good customer service is extremely hard to find. Again, I want to put a spotlight on Evonne and what a great employee she is to Secure Care. If I could give her a hundred stars I would! There's lots and lots of storage places you can go but what's more important than the storage space is the person who takes care of all the paperwork that storage units require. If you're looking for a storage unit, consider Secure Care on South Meridian your storage location of choice and make sure you introduce yourself to Eqvonne! Thanks Evonne for all your help over the years!

I have a lot of experience with storage facilities. Due to circumstances beyond my control I have maintained units at several well known facilities in OKC. Before coming to SecurCare, I was treated horribly by a new competitor in the market who had purchased a facility that I had 5 units rented out at. I had been there for years prior to it being bought out by this new competitor. I had great rapport with the old owners. They were a mom & pop type business. The new guys were national and only cared about money. They placed new rules and made it so difficult to access your own things. They changed payment policies and removed the convenient payment kiosk that was on site. It came to a head when they upped my monthly rent on all my units $100 per unit per month - just to show me they could. I would have to pay the $500 a month increase or lose my beloved possessions in the blink of an eye. No care for their customers. No compassion for the people who made their greed possible. No knowledge of the fact that people donāt put their possessions in storage bc they want to - it is bc they have to for whatever reason. One unit was the size of a closet and was $35 a month. I was forced to pay $135 for that closet or lose what was inside of it. They did not provide pest control and the rats were destroying my things as fast as they could get to them. The rats chewed thru and drank bleach from a container of liquid laundry bleach that had been left by accident at one point. Sheer craziness, I was forced to deal with. I began my search for a new facility to maintain my possessions. This is when I chose SecurCare. I was really down on the entire business model of storages as a whole - but had no other options. I must say and am happy to say that SecurCare treated me with the respect and Care that I deserved. The manager, Evonne Poe, has changed my outlook on the entire situation. She truly knows her tenants. She treats me with the utmost care & support for whatever is going on in my life. She knows life throws curveballs and has the patience of a Saint. I feel truly blessed to know Evonne is looking out for my belongings - and I even feel like she is a friend even tho we only talk once a month when Iām making my payment. My satisfaction is important to Evonne. It is people like Evonne who keep a business flourishing and create repeat clientele. I appreciate her so much. I hope the owners/stock holders/partners - whatever capacity they hold title - appreciate her dedication & earnest hard work she puts forth everyday on their behalf and in the name of SecurCare. We should all be so lucky to have someone ācaring and securingā our investments in the manner Evonne does. She is a gem!
