If I could give zero stars I would. The first woman I talked to was very helpful and willing to help me transfer my prescriptions to this location. After hours of waiting for my prescription to be filled Nick called and said he could not fill my prescription because "he did not FEEL COMFORTABLE filling my prescription due to the dosage my PCP prescribed." Very incompetent decision to disregard orders from a higher level of care. I will be taking my money elsewhere.

I’ve used this pharmacy for years and I’ll never go anywhere else. Every friend and family member I send loves it too. No waiting in the drive through for an hour, no being treated like a number, no going through an endless automated answering system. Questions are answered quickly and by knowledgeable people. Small, local pharmacies are the way to go.

Customer service over the phone is awful. If you cannot treat people right over the phone, why would they come spend their money here?

Switched over to Thrifty due to a national shortage of the medication I take, and all other pharmacies were backordered. While the hours are much shorter than other pharmacies, and they do lack some of the more convenient tech features (like being able to check status of an Rx online), the service I've received has been so fantastic over the last 4 months or so that I haven't felt like going back.Just having a human answer the phone when calling is so refreshing! Everyone I've interacted with has also been friendly and kind.

Hands down the best Pharmacy in the city. Turn around time for prescriptions is the most efficient and staff is friendly and always accommodating.

I switched to this pharmacy to support local business, but switched again after one of the pharmacists forgot to hang up the phone and was bad mouthing me to the other employees. I went in to follow up, and realized the person I spoke with was actually the owner, Dani. When I informed her I overheard her on the phone, she said "okay".Her profile on their website it states:"She is passionate about superb customer service and is intentional about treating everyone that walks through the pharmacy doors like family."I had a terrible customer service experience, and was treated like an inconvenience, not family. An apology could have gone a long way, but I'll just find a new pharmacy.Take note of the polarized reviews on here. Seems like they are pretty hit or miss.

I just moved across the street from this pharmacy and attempted to have my prescriptions sent there from my old pharmacy. I had the doctor and my urologist also call in medication‘s to this pharmacy, because I thought I was going to be able to fill here. I spoke with this pharmacy last week about it and they said it was OK. Today I went to go pick up my prescriptions and they told me that they were not going to accept me. Meaning, they were not going to fill for me because they didn’t like me. I lived in Arkansas before I moved here and I lived in Idaho four years ago. They said because I lived in two other states prior to moving to Oklahoma, that I appeared to be Dr. hopping and breaking the law. I’ve never been so insulted in my life. I cannot have my medication moved to a different pharmacy now because my doctor is off for a week. So now I get to go without my medication for a week. I just had surgery on my neck, and now I have to go without my medication that I absolutely have to take, because these people refuse to fill for me because I appear to be Dr. hopping and breaking the law. This pharmacy is a joke. And they are rude. I am contacting my attorney to file a lawsuit against them for this. Do not trust this pharmacy! They told me that they weren’t going to fill for me because I lived in other locations in my life using different IDs?! That’s a blatant lie! I’ve never changed my name, or my identity. I’m guilty of replacing my id so I could drive legally when I moved here. So if you ever lived outside of Oklahoma City and filled a prescription in another state, you will not get your prescription filled here! Nor will they tell you that before you have your medication sent here. I attempted to talk to the owner, after talking to a disrespectful manager, and the owner was just as bad! She put words into my mouth when I politely explained how important it was for me to take my medication and that if she refused to fill it I would have to wait a week to fill it at Walmart where I filled it before, and she wanted to fight over the phone! She was very unprofessional. I won the Better Business Bureau’s Business of the Year “Torch” for Ethics in 2019. Trust me when I tell you this truth. I didn’t deserve this. If they weren’t going to fill my medication after moving across the street, they should have told me on the phone as they worked vigilantly to accurately accommodate me in the moving process. My life depends on medication. I just had a surgical procedure in my neck and somehow they feel I deserve to be obligated to wait another week to have my medication filled because of who I look like. They are prejudicial and shortsighted. I will be attaching to this review updates as everyone needs to be informed prior to coming to this joke of a pharmacy. If you are thinking about using this pharmacy please do your research. They are not interested in accepting you unless you aren’t on Soonercare and look like them. It’s the truth.

This place has horrible customer service. I came inside nobody said hello or was even the slightest bit friendly. Went up to the cashier who is a older black lady she was rude as hell!! I told her my name and then when I paid and got my meds I said thank you and she said “mhm” not have a nice day nothing!! Everytime I come here I have the same experience! This place has horrible customer service and need training for all of their employees! This is ridiculous!

We love Thrifty Pharmacy in Oklahoma City. A few years ago we transferred all our scripts from Walgreens to Thrifty and we’ve never looked backed. The entire staff at Thrifty is friendly, accommodating and always available. I want to name each person who has made our experience with Thrifty so pleasant but I’m fearful that I might forget someone and that would make me feel terrible. Let me just say there is not one person who will disappoint or offend you. There will always be someone who acknowledges you when you enter the store (which never happened at Walgreens), they will recognize your family membersand, they will ask about a family member who has been sick. This is a pharmacy that is focused on people and community. In a time when nobody knows your name, recognizes your face or you have to wait in long lines to pick up your scripts…Thrifty is a sweet relief.Special mention to Dani the animal lover of all time…Gracie sends you warm thoughts and gentle hugs.

Much better service than big pharmacy chains. Nice to have a local pharmacy that knows you personally! I've also gotten my flu shot here which was very convenient.

Don't push the C-19 vaccine while demeaning those who don't need it. If you actually look at raw data you will see that the vaccine doesn't stop one from getting sick, it simply lessens the symptoms if you do get it and makes it more survivable. For some the possible risk of a negative reaction isn't work the high probability of surviving the sickness. SHAME on you.
