I didn't even go there but called and asked about service and whomever answered the phone and talked so rudely as though I was a nuisance. Looked at the reviews and saw they had the same problem. So glad I didn't bother to go there first.

The manager, Allen Wood, is the most incompetent and rude person I’ve ever done “business” with. I’ve been visiting Valvoline for years before I was referred to this location. The first time I dropped my car off with them, I said it was overheating and asked them to make the cooling system run properly. I brought it in on the day and time they specified over the phone, yet when I arrived they said they got swamped that morning and probably wouldn’t get to it, but took it. I never heard from them, I called back. They said the cooling system would run properly if they replaced the water pump and timing belt but I would have to get it and bring it back in a few days before they’ll start the job. When I picked it up, I first noticed they had undoubtedly smoked cigarettes inside and used some odor eliminator in a failed attempt to cover it. I went far from home for them because I trusted the larger corporate company, Valvoline. Per their request, I drove my car a sixty-mile round trip while it was still over-heating and in danger of severe damage, only to bring it back in a few days. Again, I arrived at the time and day they specified and they were busier than they thought, so they could not start work on my car that day. This is the only vehicle we have in our household, so getting myself to my two jobs and college while getting my girlfriend to her job as a teacher in the next town over was impossible. They told me the repair would take two to three days. After a few days of silence, I called again. They told me they were waiting on a part to ship, which they should have ordered when I agreed to the repair, so they still hadn’t started. Didn’t feel the need to call. This time, I had the employee read my cell number aloud and confirmed they had my number. After several more silent days, I called again. They said, “someone should be call you by the end of the day.” Heard nothing, called again. They said the water pump they installed was faulty, they’re working on a new one. They called back in a day or so to say it was ready. They tried to charge me $125 over what they quoted me. When I refused, they “discounted” it to the original price we agreed on because they took over a week after quoting two days. Everything seemed to be running fine, but they charged me $130 for replacing the coolant and DID NOT FILL THE RESERVOIR. I accepted their incompetence and filled it up myself. The next day, the dash showed a new error code which specified that the coolant would not heat up enough because it would not pump into the engine block. They took it from overheating to underheating. I called, they made me wait over a week before they took it back. They promised fixing the faulty repair “wouldn’t take long as long as last time.” Once again, I brought it in on their specified day and time, once again they acted confused and told me someone “called out that morning,” so they won’t get to it today. I waited over a week in silence. I called expecting they repaired my car as promised but they said it needs a new thermostat for $125. I calmly began listing my legitimate grievances as the manager Allen Wood spoke over me, impetuously cutting me off each time I took a breath to continue. He lied, telling me they had been trying to call me all week and had the wrong number. I never gave any Valvoline location a different number. The receipt previously given to me at his shop has the correct number and they used it to reach me in one instance. I asked Allen to read me the number they had been calling, he said he didn’t have it near him. Allen raised his voice at me, telling me they don’t want my car sitting up there and that my leaving it there is a nuisance. He spoke over me again, saying he would not argue “semitics” with me. Yes, I know that the correct word is semantics. He did not or appears to be antisemitic. I’ve never been so disappointed in a company I previously respected, and I will go through any corporate channels that might prove prudent. Everyone there is ill-groomed and high out of their minds. Class act, Mr. Wood.

Fast, easy and convenient. They got me and another fleet vehicle of ours in and out within 15 minutes. They were very accommodating, professional and helpful. They understanding of this being a company fleet vehicle that didn't need specific services and reviewed everything with us without pushing the sales in a negative way. This is my new location that I will bring all my vehicles as well as recommend friends and family to.

Most expensive oil change of my life.$150 for the oil change and then they busted up the housing so bad it had to be replaced and the oil changed again for $750. So I got myself a $900 oil change. Thank you Valvoline.

Great service! Quick, polite, they worked together to be efficient/thorough. I liked being able to sit in the car while they completed my service.

The service here was awful. All they did was change the oil. They didn’t check the tire pressure nor the windshield wipers. They forgot to give me my discount and over charged me then I was told that they couldn’t fix it. Finally after speaking to the third individual they fixed the overcharge.

I work at another oil change facility, and every single time we get a customer who recently visited yall, the filter is either extremely too tight, or not lubricated. Please train your techs correctly.:)

i've been going to valvoline for years now and this was my least favorite experience. they did the oil change but that's about it. they didn't check my lights, they didn't check my tire pressure cause i had to get air in my tires after i left. they didn't check my filters and the last time i went they told me my battery was getting low and they didn't mention my battery didn't mention windshield wipers even tho mine are broken. they did the oil change and i was in and out fast. but they wouldn't let me use my coupon said it was for the wrong thing but didn't even try it just said no like ?? they're both for conventional oil changes so what was wrong w it anyways wouldn't recommend this specific valvoline

My husband was looking for a place to get our college daughters oil changed in her car while we were in town. This place had good reviews so we headed there. We were met with a friendly attendant - Anthony - who got us in right away. James came along and helped with the oil change and all the checks they do in the process. Both men were very kind & professional. We were in & out in 15 minutes! There’s an online Valvoline oil change coupon that can save you $10 or $7.50, depending on your oil of choice. We have added this location (6704 S Western in OKC) to our favorites!

In & out within 15 minutes! Anthony & James we're very friendly, efficient, & professional. They even showed my husband - didn't just tell him - that our daughters car has a very slow leak that will need to be fixed before next oil change. This location will be our go-to from now on!
