I’ve been with Verizon for 3 years and I switched because they have amazing deals and free phones. The service is so bad I will never recommend no matter what they do. I could be in the middle of the city and get no service. They said they will give me a controller for my Xbox if I signed up for WiFi too!!! WiFi is so bad I can’t play the game, what do I need the controller for? I’ll be switching soon and will never return or recommend. Sounds good until you can’t load stuff multiple times throughout the day.

Will never go back. Young man stated he didn’t care if we kept Verizon or not that was are choice. We are both military and tax exempt, which he stated we weren’t and I asked him to verify and wouldn’t, this has never been an issue in the past with them.

I signed up for home internet 6 weeks prior to this review. The equipment works with help of Verizon tech support, but I have not been able to sign in to my verizon to this day.
I've called over 10 times and always get a polite person who tries to link my equipment so that I can finish creating my profile and use the app.
Every time it ends with me locked out for an appropriate time period.
I'm not used to dealing with a company that can't offer a solution.
It seems the only time they are concerned with my business is when I call.
I usually don't give negative reviews. All I need is for a manager to contact me and get involved and get my service ticket to someone knowledgeable enough to fix my account. I really don't want to give up because the equipment really works good.
5 weeks later, the problems has been resolved. I’m glad I stayed with tech support and everything is working very good.

Team rep that was there when I had inquired about billing was unable to help at all and then suggested I call Billing… really? Why are you here then? Customer service used to be good and now just across the board sucks especially the in-store reps. Talking to them on the phones a pain, being there in person seems worse. I may just go to T-mobile. This is bad— I remember why I left to begin with.
Update:
I had to call UPS twice and Verizon once to get the change of delivery done and none could help. First off, Verizon makes it sound like you can make these changes but you can’t bc Verizon has to verify stuff and make those adjustments on their end. You don’t even get a say in which format you want to receive the package and although I understand for security reasons this must be done, undoing this crap shouldn’t be this difficult. I was met with two reps from UPS who couldn’t see my o communicate very well and that alone was frustrating. No one uses ACTIVE LISTENING.
Next I reached out to Verizon and yet again was met with two reps who did not seem to get what I was trying to do even after explaining five times what I was trying to get done. They need to stop doing the overseas stuff bc no one is capable it seems. The first rep stated that I should just let the package go back and reattempt another day which is not very great advice bc I have a full schedule and don’t have time to wait for a package. The second rep just made a ticket and I asked how long it would take to resolve and she said 24 hrs… Now why the living heck would you waste my time like this after I had asked for this to be resolved before its delivery??? ALL THESE INTERACTIONS WERE GARBAGE AND SO IS THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I will be leaving as soon as possible and making sure no one goes to them.

I came to this store to report an outage if the service and was flat told switch to AT&T. That's not a problem as my second phone is actually on an AT&T wireless plan.

The folks here do not represent the high standards of customer service that I've experienced over the last several years from Verizon. Maybe some appropriate Google reviews will attract some corporate attention and get a few changes made.

Great! Google finally figured out that I didn't go to Freddy's. I just finished a review of Verizon because that's where we were instead of Freddy's. Even though I've never been to Freddy's, I gave it 3 stars anyway, just because they're next door to Verizon and that's where Google thought I was. You know, like a participation trophy.
So to give Verizon their actual review, I took my wife there because she wanted a new iPhone. Notice I said wanted, not needed. Her older iPhone 12 still looked like a new iPhone and did about everything the iPhone 16 does, but it was 2-3 years old, wasn't as shiny and she can make anyone in her office who is still suffering by having an older iPhone envious. Not necessarily telling everyone what a great guy I am for getting her one, but I'm WAY past new and shiny. I've tried to explain that since all she uses it for is to text, read books, and make or receive about 4 actual phone calls a month, that she could do all of those things with a phone that costs about $900.00 less, but she has the miraculous ability to go deaf any time I mention getting something that costs less than what she wants to get.
It's not easy to review a place that only sells phones, watches and other expensive gadgets, but I will say that Ryan Linsey who helped us, was friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful and explained everything in a simple way that even I could understand and made the act of putting a dent in my bank account seem almost painless. Great job Ryan.

Pretty rude service here. The first time was NYE and I get that they wanted to go home but they literally locked the door as we were walking up to it simply to turn in a trade in. Very quick and easy.
We explained all we needed to do was turn it in but the staff just pretended we weren't there. One guy finally came over and said their system was off and they couldn't accept the phone anyway..there were still customers in the store though, so I dont know.
Returning the 2nd they said they couldn't accept the phone because we couldn't get it to factory reset.
We finally got it all taken care of but boy was it way more stressful then it should have been!

I had some mud on shoes and needed some help from the Verizon staff. I did not enter the store, because I didn't want to dirty their floor. I have been a Verizon client for 13 yrs. The employee told me they could not help me with my request of contacting Verizon to help with an issue for me. He looked at me like I was a pile of dung. After calling Verizon and spending almost 2 hrs on hold, I was reassured that I could be helped at any Verizon location in minutes. Verizon has lost my business. Even after expressing my irratation to the employee at the store, on the phone and reviewing their service thru their automated system, there has been no response.

Horrible customer service at this store tried to up sale me on products then when my account got flagged by fraud didn’t have the curtesy to call and get me verified just assumed account would be closed after they contributed to the fraud review in the first place.
