This Walgreens has been my go to for 20 +plus years. A few weeks back I experienced the most frustrating thing,I waited over 20 minutes to get through the drive thru 3 minutes before Mr.Jo decides to abruptly close the window. I’m very familiar with this tech and have had nothing but good a really good repore with him . I immediately went in almost running to the pharmacy and yes knocked on their roll out door ! And yes as some have mentioned medicine is not ready etc. Too late … I drove over 15 min to get there after a move and not wanting to switch to a more convenient location I really like Tran she’s so friendly and I realize their swamped but the next day time I wanted to know why ? He said “well we have people pull up on the dot wanting RX’s”..Nope try again you saw me and closed it ..There’s something about going to the pharmacy where they know you .. [as I shake my pills and proudly walk off 🤣 💊 😏] . Now again here tonite … they closed 2 hours early without notice… a text says temporary closed.. I’m considering switching after today and too many inconsistencies.

I ordered same day delivery for medication on a Friday morning and it simply never showed up. Saturday and Sunday they were closed (so I was then without my needed medication) and come Monday it still never showed up. I had to go to the store to get it. DONT TRUST the med delivery

Walgreens is falling apart and 23rd and May is the flagship of sinking. Be warned you will not get your prescription timely, long lines, unscheduled breaks and random store shutdowns. While it’s easy to blame the staff, the deeper issue is a struggling company that strains its staff and resource, not to mention the loops and mazes of a garbage health care system the staff is forced to coordinate, supply chains breakdowns, and a broken federal drug policy.

I really wish this palace would get the pharmacy working. No matter the time or day I go its never open. I haven't been able to get my meds in a month. If I could I would give 0 stars.
Update
Now thay are telling my insurance is not covering my meds. I know damn well it dose. I switching to CVS because Walgreens is a joke.

This Walgreens is within walking distance of my house, and yet often it takes less time for me to use the Costco pharmacy 20 minutes away. Service is consistently slow. They are often incommunicative about issues filling my prescriptions. It is not uncommon to be on hold for 30+ minutes when I call. This pharmacy doesn't even have weekend hours. Occasionally I will get there only to find that the pharmacy is closed during hours that they are supposed to be open. I have worked in a customer-facing medical setting before, and I strongly suspect that this is an issue of poor management and chronic understaffing. Honestly I'm shocked that this store is still open.

Worst customer service ever, can barely check anything right. Sent me to another walgreens they didn’t have it, came back couldn’t find insurance card then found it? Literally so SLOW too

This is the worst pharmacy ever. The wait is always INSANELY long, staff do not care, and they will keep you on hold forever. It’s been this way for at least the last year. Hate it.

Pharmacy is impossible to reach on the phone, prescriptions are never timely filled, attempted to use their Rx delivery service but medication just sat at the pharmacy for days and I had to pick up in the store. This pharmacy is extremely understaffed and overworked, will be transferring all my Rx to a local pharmacy.

The pharmacy seems to be very slow often. The script called in on Thursday, on Monday was not ready and had to wait 2hrs for them to fill when they had no one to service at the time I went. Not sure why it took them this long when they had no one else to service. The staff is not happy to be works there. The store itself didn't have an employee to greet you at front and stone was waiting to check out. From front to back the management needs to improve at this store.
