The gas here is at least 10 cents less then the other big name gas stations i drive by. It is so convenient for someone with a handicap to get in and out quickly.

Only has two crewed registers, lines typically go into the isles. The automated registers are only good for small and relatively few items. Also, there are enough employees idling by the automated registers while customers pile up, they could be crewed. Poor planning and design for the volume of traffic they experience.

I had to grab a few things and I've never been in this Walmart before. There wasn't a lot of people in there but their staff was nice 👍👍

Nice store overall. The only real issue is that they are now putting groceries inside locked display cases and putting security wrap on bacon & other items. The entrance door is closed, locked, and has a large plastic folding sign in front of it. Everyone must enter the store through the exit. This creates two-way traffic heading into & out of the self checkouts. Self checkouts are formed in a square coral pattern, meaning narrow entry past a staffed desk & one way out on the opposite corner, again past a supervisor desk. I understand that the poor economy and massive inflation have caused grocery prices to increase 30%-45% on average. A few items have increased 100%+, such as ice cream and even potatoes. Shoplifting has increased because the American people are trying to buy the food they need but can not afford it, so they steal it.
This is an unfortunate truth. But imagine if Walmart had chosen to back the American People and keep prices as low as possible. I mean, if Walmart had decided that they didn't really need to make an average of $150 Billion Dollars in Pure Profits each year, would it force them out of business? No. Instead of increasing profit, 3% to 5% year over year, back America and be okay with a 1% year over year gowth in profit dollars. Anyway, my point is because prices are higher, people are stealing more stuff, we, the paying customer, have to wait for an employee to come to the locked case & open the door, and then take it to the front checkout with us, or what have to wait longer & longer because the Self checkouts person us busy taking security wraps off of bacon. When the very limited front-end employees, cashier, has to go from one self checkout to another, & another, it seems that the person who is supposed to monitor the checkouts to ensure items are scanned etc. it is possible that people might take advantage of the self checkouts monitor persons constant distraction.

I was able to find everything on my list. People were friendly. And they have more motorized carts. The first cart I tried to use would come to a complete stop for no reason. It wasn't out of charge. It showed 98%. It would be going smoothly, then stop. I kind of found myself sliding forward. I told the first worker that it could give someone whiplash.
