Treated me like a criminal, simply because I didn't have an account with them , I had a check from a loan I made here in town and that's where they do their banking (arvest) so I decided I'd take it to their bank ,thinking it'd be easier to cash since it's the bank they do business through, when I told her I didn't have an account with them she wanted my ID and a debit or credit card ??? From any other bank ??? This seems weird to me .......All the while being rude and snarky towards me , also if you are disabled and aren't an account holder they said you still have to physically get out and go inside the bank ??? I will definitely not be getting an account through arvest ever!!! After receiving the treatment I did this afternoon

I went to arvest bank today in Okmulgee, ok. I asked the teller for cash from checking. She got it out. Counted it super fast in front of me. I noticed it was correct. She placed into a white envelope and I placed it into pocket. Drove straight to mechanic and handed him the envelope and asked him count it. He laughed and thought I was pulling a joke. He asked where I got these bills. I explained Arvest bank. I was super confused at this point. It had a fake 100 dollar bill in it. I called the bank and police and made report. They called me back and said well after reviewing it, we are sorry for your lose. But we can't give you another hundred. I said wait, what, if I had given you a fake bill, then you would call the police. I went to close my accounts and I showed a picture to a different teller. Seeing how i only had a picture because police had the fake bill. She said whats the problem. I said read it. She said oh wow, well did the bank give you your 100 back. I said I wouldn't be here closing my account had your bank done the right thing. Word of advise. Even if they count it. Make sure to examine every bill. Had teller looked at the bills instead of just fast counting them, then this wouldn't have happened. Arvest bank committed a crime against the public and yet they get a pass. Shame on you. You choose a 100 fake bill over a life long customer.

I just went into Arvest Bank to cash my spouses Economic Impact money. I was not allowed to because he need to be there with an ID. I told he that is is on Oxygen and weak from Covid. The answer I received was “I’m sorry that’s bank policy.”Yea your sorry alright, my husband is sick and that’s impact money if you’re effected economically. Well he wants to pay our bills and can’t because you have a POLICY that makes No Sense what the money provided is for.You are Dirt! That’s why I don’t use this bank ! A darn good reason!

The bank manager Penny told my ex-wife about me transferring money from my personal account into my daughter's account. We are considering moving to a different bank and will let family and friends of this bank know if they dont do something about her

This has been my personal bank for over 20 years. I'm sure it will be for the next 20. I'm always greeted by name and everyone who works here is great. Always helpful and good at their jobs. ??

I’ve been a customer of Arvest for 10 years and at first they worked out really well but here recently they haven’t. My saving account was closed for taking money out of it to often , I kept a steady flow of about $500 in there and never let it drop below that. Still , they closed it without telling me. Recently My card was about to expire and I called the bank letting them know and asking them if they had sent my replacement out and they said yes. I waited and waited and I never got it. I had tickets to go to a formula 1 race in Austin Texas and I still hadn’t got my card so I went to the race and I couldn’t use my. See cause it had expired.... so I had to drive about 45 minutes to the nearest Arvest and get cash out and currently I still don’t have my new card and my online subscriptions are failing because my payment isn’t valid. I went to the Arvest here in town and the guy wasn’t much help. He started asking me why my card wasn’t working after I specifically told him it was expired I mean.... dude.... it’s your job.... just look at the date on the card.......

For the last few years, I have had no problems. As of this week, that has changed. I do not personally have an Arvest account, but my employer does. Cashing my check has never been an issue... until now. I go through the drive thru, as I usually do, and am asked by a teller who has waited on me more times than I can remember, if I have an account with them. I say no, and am asked to come inside. I go inside and then I'm asked for a second form of I.D. Mind you, my drivers license is in the teller's hand, and it is valid. I have to go back to my vehicle, grab my social security card and go back in. Well, that was satisfactory and my check is cashed. When the teller counted the money back, it was short by only $5.00. But, me thinking it was a mistake, I said, it should have been XXX amount. That's when I'm told that there is now a fee to cash my check. Needless to say, I was very displeased with this. Two forms of I.D. plus, oh we charge now. I understand the teller was doing their job, I also understand security issues dealing with bank/money. In my opinion, if any financial institution is going to be this strict, I want no part of it, period. You don't make someone feel embarrassed to "enforce" rules that supposedly went into effect July 15th. If anyone is thinking of opening an account, better make sure you have your I's dotted and your T's crossed because they will nit pick not only you, but your personal information, i.e. social security card. I was not at all comfortable with them accessing my social security number when they already had ALL the information needed on my driver's license!! I have never been treated this way and rest assured I will not be darkening their doorstep! Very disappointed.
