My wife and I entered the store and grabbed a couple of drinks then waited in line as Mr. Chris Black a shift leader ignored us and proceeded to wait on other customers.He looked straight at us as we approached the register and he left from behind the register but came back when other non black customers got in line. He did not even acknowledge our presence. So we put the drinks back and walked out. After escorting my wife back to our truck, I walked back into the store alone and he and his co-workers appeared to be laughing about the situation but, I asked him the store number and he proceeded to ask me if there was anything he could do for me and I responded with a resounding 'No'. Maybe he should learn the power of a real discrimination lawsuit! So he can realize that some people don't care about the color of your skin but the respect and professionalism of honest customer service. This is the second time I have had to deal with this, I am thinking that maybe my trucking company should our business some where else. We should also talk about this on our trucker social media platforms. It makes no sense, I am just trying to haul my loads Coast to coast. There is we enough stress with just driving all day on these highways, I shouldn't have to deal with these type of childish and unprofessional behaviors.

Please do not buy gas at this Loves travel center or Loves gas stations. They held $175 on my credit card, which I learned from my card company, Discover, could be for up to six days. I only bought $35 worth of gas. I understand this is a common practice throughout the Loves gas stations in the country. People don’t realize that these large companies receive interest on your money that they hold. It may not seem like much for a few days or so but multiply that by millions of charge cards daily.

Traveling from Tulsa to San Antonio Saturday morning after Thanksgiving, low tire light came on. Stopped at Loves and met 2 of the nicest people. While sister got coffee and talked to one clerk, the other came out to help. He checked my tires and put air in all 4 tires and made sure they were all good. The cold temperature did not stop him from lending a hand.
These 2 clerks went above and beyond to help 2 elderly sisters.

Carl’s Jr in loves needs better management. Dumping fryer oil before lunch on a Wednesday. Polite staff. Couldn’t even order what I wanted.

It is currently 4:43 PM on Monday, September 16th. I am saying that because I wanted to give a very public compliment to the woman who just served me at the Carl's Jr, but I did not catch her name. She gave me the best service that I've had in quite some time, and I watched her make my california classic like she was SpongeBob in the burger competition with King Neptune. She tucked it in and everything. 10/10 made with love
