On Wednesday, June 11, I went to AutoZone to get a starter for my Volkswagen dune buggy. While I was there, I was told they don’t stock them anymore. He apologized and tried to recommend another place for me to get one. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to, and even though he couldn’t help me with my part, he recommended me where I could go. I proceeded to leave and push the door open and I guess I passed out. I’m really not sure what happened. Next thing I know the manager(Brett) of the store, was at my side. He asked if I was OK, And I told him I’m not sure what happened. Him and his coworker(Christina) I think was her name, was trying to help me up, while another coworker went and got a chair for me to sit in. Brett asked me if I wanted him to call an ambulance, and I told him no I didn’t think I needed one. The longer I sat there I told him yes maybe he should go ahead and call an ambulance. Instead, he told me the ambulance would probably take too long, so he and his coworker helped me get to his car and he drove me to the emergency room. He went above and beyond anything I’ve seen before. I was very grateful to have him and his coworkers around when I passed out. Today is Friday, and they discharged me from the hospital. I called him to see if he could give me a ride. I did not have any other way to get back to AutoZone to get my truck. He told me it wasn’t a problem and even brought a bottle of oxygen from my truck for me to have on the ride back. That’s why I passed out, I was out of oxygen and didn’t know it. I appreciate what he did for me and told him he was an angel. I tried to pay him, but he would not accept. I hope AutoZone hires more people like this gentleman. God bless you, Brett and your coworkers and thank you for going above and beyond your job duties. I would like to try to get a hold of your boss and let them know how appreciated I am of his employee. I will call and get his number from the store. Thanks again and keep up the great work. This is my new favorite store to shop at.

Today I stopped in for a simple bulb replacement for my rear turn signal. Curtis went a step further by showing me how to replace it. As I was leaving my Jeep wouldn't start. Brett the store manager happened to be outside finishing up with another customer and immediately came over to my vehicle. There was no warning lights indicating an issue or any reading of a code when they attempted for one. With Brett and Curtis's knowledge of mechanics they fixed the sudden problem and I was able to drive away without having to be towed. I am so thankful for their extraordinary customer service at store #552.

They had the correct inventory, other 2 national chains had a shortage on their inventory. Which I understand happens, it's the don't care attitude of the staff. AutoZone staff was very helpful, and also their prices were better. Definitely coming back here.
