Dollar general does not do FedEx drop off anymore

If you didn't already know, you could drop off FedEx packages here at this Dollar General. You would never know because there are no signs outside or on the door saying you can.

First off, from the pictures provided by Google maps you would think that the drop off for FedEx is actually at the gas station. My friend you are wrong! Turns out the FedEx drop off is inside the Dollar general, subjugated to its open and close time and weekends. If you go in there thinking I'm going to ship something through FedEx without prepaying then you're wrong. I hope you were lucky enough to way out your package in prepay online and print out a FedEx package label before you came to this site. However they handle FedEx ground and express. The Dollar general staff is overworked and underpaid so don't expect the grandest professional explanation of how FedEx and Dollar general work together. Have your stuff ready at the door to get the job done and leave before you feel just as bad for these people as I do. Granted this was my first impression of the whole process I could see where I might use this service again.
