About Sapulpa Historical Museum
The Sapulpa Historical Museum is a huge, beautifully curated walk through time in a really cool old building. It offers a fantastic historical overview of Sapulpa and is packed with local history, from vintage photos and yearbook pictures dating back to the 50s and before to fascinating artifacts and full-scale replicas of old shops and homes. The amount of artifacts on local history is incredible. Displays are put together with care and a keen eye to detail across many themed rooms. The staff and volunteers are awesome, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, very nice, and passionate about the town's history. They offer free literature on unique sites to visit in Sapulpa and surrounding areas. A visit can include a scavenger hunt for both floors and viewing an old fire engine in the lobby. The museum is a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone interested in Oklahoma history or looking for a unique way to spend an afternoon, considered among the top local town museums. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 3.

Our group loved this step back in time, especially the school room. They've done a beautiful job displaying artifacts. It's definitely worth the stop along with the fire museum.
