Extremely disappointed in this place. We adopted our boy from the Seminole Animal Shelter and when we got him he had a fungal infection on his face, which the shelter paid for his visit. The tech (Randy?) was very nice and took his time looking our boy over. They gave us some antibiotics and also some shampoo to get him feeling better. Not a bad first experience. Few months later and i’m needing a replacement rabies tag as our boy lost his. Not only did it take me 3 DAYS to get ahold of anyone, when I did get ahold of the receptionist she was very rude. I had to explain to her over and over how he was rabies vaccinated while he was at the shelter, I was not the one who brought him. I asked her on the phone how much the tag would be and she told me $3, no biggie. I go the next morning to pick it up and totally forgot cash so I ask her if I can use card (which is advertised on the sign up front) and she said yes however it charges a $3 fee. I was like okay i’ll go get cash out i’ll be right back. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get cash out so I went back in and told her I would just use my card. She goes, “it’s still gonna charge $3.” And I go, “that’s okay.” Because I just thought it was gonna charge me an extra $3. At this point she starts getting loud with me and says, “no it’s not okay! It’s gonna charge us $3 and we don’t wanna pay it!” I apologize saying I didn’t realize she meant it would charge them and I also apologized I couldn’t get cash out at the moment. She literally TOSSED the rabies tag and paper at me to the point it fell behind the little desk area and I had to grab it and tossed my card on the counter as well. She yells, “just take the tag!!” Soooo rude and extremely disrespectful over $3. Why advertise you take cards if you’re gonna act like that when someone tries to pay? I was so upset that the free voucher from the vet I got to take our boy for his neuter there means nothing anymore. I will 100% pay to go somewhere else. If they treat people like that, how are they gonna treat my dog when i’m not there.

I've been meaning to write this review for over a week. Dr. Kuhn is absolutely a hero! We just got a brand new puppy in our family and a couple of weeks ago she was hit by a four wheeler and her hip was broken. We were devastated. I brought our new baby to Dr. Kuhn and he saved our baby! We were terrified financially wether we could afford to help her. Dr. Kuhn did an amazing job and he did this and made it affordable! Thank you Dr. Kuhn and all of your staff for taking care of our furbaby!

We found them using Google reviews and we are so glad we did. My aunts 11 yr old Yorkie was in trouble with kidney failure. Dr. Kuhn and his staff did excellent work flushing her out by subcutaneous fluids which appears to have saved her life. Hopefully she will enjoy some more quality years with proper diet and care. My family heartily endorses State Street Animal Hospital for any fur-baby you may have.

Dogs are my profession and I can say that Dr. Kuhn is, not only the most knowledgeable all-around vet I've ever met, but most importantly, he has the dogs' best interests at heart and possesses great integrity. I wouldn't trust ANYONE else with my animals.
