I gave the barber simple instructions with I want a fade on the sides and back and just a trim off the top and she clearly didn’t listen and cut have of the top off and did the sides terrible and now I’m wondering if I should even go back cause what a terrible time.

I’ve had great experiences each time I’ve walked into my local great clips. The staff are Amazing and friendly. I’ve never had a bad cut and always leave with a smile. Shoutout to Shawnee great clips. And shoutout to the one who cuts my hair 🙏🏼

As you know the minimum star that can be given is one. If I could I would give none. Anyway, I read the reviews & decided against coming here & had booked an appt with another stylist in town but missed my appt with Gentry's Hair Studio & she's really hard to get into as is b/c she is so sought after. But, I needed to get my hair cut before I started my new job & so Great clips was a last min, last resort decision in going to. And I regretted it almost immediately after sitting in the stylist chair. I believe her name is Valerie or something like that. I proceeded to explain to her how I wanted my hair I tell her I wanted a blunt angle cut in the front starting just under my chin and in the back I wanted it stacked but long. this girl is steadily trying to correct me of how I'm explaining my hair when she should have just shut up and listened then reiterated what she understood to be the hair cut I wanted. But apparently I'm supposed to know the exact terms that a professional would call a certain hair cut. But regardless she clearly wasn't listening & most obviously didn't know what she was talking about either cuz my hair was butchered anyway. It really sucks cuz I was starting a new job & didn't have any spare time anymore to go back to get it fixed nor do I care too go back here again. My dad seems to be pleased with the place but from my experience and the reviews I'de highly suggest if you are a woman do not get your hair cut here. They clearly do NOT know what they are doing. So as a quick fix attempt I just dyed some blue streaks in my hair hoping it was a distraction enough from anyone noticing how terrible of a hair cut I had. Which didn't seem to work people noticed how uneven it was and how embarrassing having to explain how this stylist butchered my hair.This business should be ashamed of themselves letting people cut hair this way. And the reviews don't lie. Especially, when you have more than one saying the same thing. So, take heed to the reviews and don't make the terrible mistake in coming here.

If your a female do not get your hair cut here.. I showed her a picture and my hair looks nothing like what I asked for. It’s choppy. You can see where chunks of my hair was cut out. It’s way shorter than I asked.. it honestly looks like a kid got ahold of my hair with scissors…
