Woodland Veterans Park is a great place for all types of events, from concerts to family picnics. Visitors find the park nice, clean, and inviting, with well-kept picnic areas, restrooms, and a playground. The site features beautiful and solemn war memorials with names chiseled into monuments, creating a moving tribute. The layout is wonderful and very well lit, and includes impressive displays like a full-size helicopter. The park is dog-friendly and provides benches and tables for rest. It is also adjacent to a large swimming facility with multiple areas, including a splash pad, a lazy river, pools of varying depths with slides, basketball, climbing walls, and diving boards. This makes it a cheap and fun destination for families. The park serves as a powerful reminder of service and sacrifice.

Park in the city close to county building which has county court and court clerk county assessor and county deeds office and sheriff's office must go thru medal detector before entering.

The park is great, has alot for kids! Bathrooms not so much.
