I wish I could give 0 stars. Terrible post office. I ordered decorations for my wedding a week and a half before the date. On the website they kept putting off the time. They never came! They put that a delivery was attempted but I WATCHED THEM DELIVER MY REGULAR MAIL! Now it's being held at the post office. Beyond upset, I wish I could sue. Y'all ruined my wedding day!! I can't wait to leave Covington and get away from Usps in Covington!! Worst one ever!

Easily the best experience I have had at any post office. I had over 60 packages to ship and two employees that were extremely willing to help got started on stamping and organizing the packages as soon as I walked in. They were extremely friendly and got it all done in less than 25 minutes. Also, it ended up being a lot cheaper than originally expected! I will 100% go here whenever I need anything shipped.

This garbage establishment would be better off CLOSED. The Manager Bobby is useless and should be without a job. The USPS in Covington, LA WILL NOT consistently deliver your mail, nor will they consistently take your outgoing mail. We moved here from Dallas, TX and if this is a representation of Louisiana then no wonder this place is looked at as the worst state in the country. It's a real shame when a United States Postal Service operates like a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY. If we can't count on the mail to be here every weekday, then we need other options. HORRIBLE business!!! SHUT IT DOWN!!! WORTHLESS!! It should receive 0 stars. I wish we had known how BAD USPS was in Covington before we moved here. We would NOT have moved to Covington, LA if we would have known. May even sell our house and move to Mandeville just to have a proper working USPS.

They've lost several bills which caused me to incur late payment fees. The postmaster Doland Pichon is rude and unhelpful.

This is the best USPS ever. Everyone is super friendly and chill. They genuinely care about you and treat you like family. Never thought we would be regulars at a post office, but it's a cool place to hang out. USPS Northgate is the best in America!

The Covington location is totally mismanaged. I have reported our experiences to the Federal USPS and have begun sharing same with Rep Scalise's Office. We receive other people's mail several times each week; some addresses are not even same highway #. Deliveries are often delayed with USPS documenting they were unable to access porch, house, etc., and sometimes the comments say resident asked USPS to retain items at Post Office. This is all erroneous. We received an Amazon envelope that was suppose to contain leather gloves. The envelope was empty. We have driven to the post office 3 or 4 times to discover where our packages, books, are??? We are told the same thing each time - leadership/management is aware there are problems on our route, problems that started several yrs ago when our longtime mail carrier retired, quit, who knows? So USPS has known for several years that whomever is carrying mail/making deliveries on our route is incompetent, losing or stealing things, lying about why mail/packages weren't delivered and yet, nothing has changed. Delivery of mail should be outsourced/contracted to outside companies, and the ENTIRE USPS workforce should be laid off. Not next year, or the following year, NOW! USPS is a lose-lose for American taxpayers. USPS is kind of like an entitlement program-it does nothing but drain the Treasury, while adding no value. We have eliminated as much snail mail as possible, and have requested with several vendors that USPS not be used for shipment of packages. I encourage anyone having same experience to contact Congressman Scalise and/or our Senators.

930 am to 4 pm doesn't cut it. And closed for lunch 11:30 to 12:30! There is a reason the US Postal Service is in such difficulties. No guarantee of delivery at all, even if you send things overnight "guaranteed" it means nothing. Things go missing, lost or stolen and the best you can hope for is your postal fee back and an eye roll. It needs work. And all these locations need a better work ethic, longer hours and better management. 4:30 close and 5 pm close for the other locations in BCS. UPS and FedEx want my business. They deserve it.

Really tired of the lack of care from this location. As this is the only Post Office for my neighborhood, I am stuck with less than mediocre service. No less than 8 "delivered" packages missing in as little as 7 months. Tracking always says "delivered," however, nothing ever delivered. Not every vendor refunds customers if USPS confirms a delivery. A serious audit needs to be done at this location. Happened yet again yesterday and I now have to jump through hoops to try again for another refund. This location is costing vendors and customers too much money. DO SOMETHING PLEASE! Postmaster is also useless. Complaining about the carriers not delivering mail is like expecting something to be done if you call the police on speeding officers. Terrible service and location.

I have had several problems with this post office! 1) I had put mail on hold and when it was delivered, not everything was delivered to me. Several bills and other timely correspondence was not delivered which cost me late fees and other issues. 2) My local mail carrier sped out of my driveway so fast she flipped my metal grating and took broke a piece of the cement. I know it was her because I watched her do it. I was standing in the front yard with a neighbor at the time. 3) when I broke down and finally used the mail hold service again, on the day the mail was to be delivered they tried to give me my neighbors mail. I caught up with the mail carrier, who was having a cell phone conversation at the time, and said this is for the house next door and asked about my mail saying I was expecting something and she said she had nothing for delivery today so I will get everything tomorrow. WHAT?! I doubt I will get everything...again.

I have visited this office numerous times to ship packages. The people who work here are useless,lazy, and down right unfriendly. Revision I had to go back on 2/28/17. I was asked if I needed help twice. Although the staff are still unfriendly, they handled my request efficiently. I have raised my rating to neutral.

i have had many problems with this post office. they delivered a dress i ordered for homecoming to the wrong house and didnt do anything after they had tracked the package to that house. i still dont have the dress and they havent done anything to retrieve it. I received a package from them today in terrible condition. the whole thing was dented. nothing inside was harmed but youd think they would take better care of their packages and get the right address!
