Guy is a jerk.
No one was there unloading trash I came in with a trailer (nothing on it to be unloaded) and some bags in the bed of my truck. Dude ran out because I blocked a dumpster. Mind you my whole trip there was less than 3 minutes and I was the only person dropping off trash.
Very rude I will be calling on Monday

My wife and I were greeted by John because we still have WA state license plates. He asked to see proof that we lived in LeFlore County. After that he gave me the tour and was the friendliest and most hospitable Oklahoman we’ve encountered. I can see how some of these reviews are harsh, but people try to illegally dump there as it’s a free service. John is awesome!!!

As it’s public property you can video your interactions … not to mention Oklahoma is a 1 party consent state as long as person recording is in the conversation. They know how bad their employees are as the have comments off on all fb posts. Start recording them and posting. The old man at sunset corner is off his rocker.

The guy that just sits on the backhoe has made me stop going to the dump in Spiro. He has accused me of owning a rented house and wanted to charge me, made me cut the barbed wire off a two-foot broken 4x4 post and throw it in the metal bin. The barbed wire was maybe a foot long but he did bring me, pliers, to cut it off, this last time I parked where I could throw trash in the trash bin and metal bin without moving he made me move cause I had a trailer. Nobody was there no lines just wanted to have control over me. We got into an argument cause he couldn't come up with a reason why he made me move.I miss the old guy who used to run it.

The guy who is always sitting in the tractor is constantly harassing us every time we go. He tried to say he couldn't take our temporary licenses when we first got them from the dmv. He harassed my fiancé when we weren't there together because of the plates on the truck, though we'd been there several times already. Today it had been literally 30 seconds since I'd thrown my last bag into the dumpster from my car before he was coming over to tell me I had to move (I had been telling my fiancé that I was going to move the car when he came over, thats all I had time to do before he came to bother us). He sits on his phone in that tractor 90% of the time, and the other 10% he's harassing the taxpayers who have already paid for the dump. He even tried to get us to pay for the dump one time. We live literally 2 minutes down the road. He knows us by now and it's like he makes a point to come and harass us every time he sees us. It's getting really old and incredibly ridiculous. I shouldn't be harassed for using the dump I'm paying to use.

The whiney union worker in shorts instead of work clothes complained because I unloaded brush beside the pad he wanted it on. They have a backhoe. In the last few months that site has become very disorganized and harder to access when multiple people are trying to dump trash. Who decided to put a tire pile next to the burn pile anyway. Kinda dumb!!!

Station closes at 4pm. However, they don’t accept any trailers after 3:30. This is ONLY posted on their building once you are already there. You would think that would be pertinent information to put on their website or Google listing. Coincidentally I only arrived at 3:35 PM. The guy working was completely rude and obviously didn’t want to have to do anything. HE is the reason for 1 star.
