Wonderful experience! I just started working in Stillwater, and my tire light came on two days in a row after I filled them. They got me in after work, and I was able to make it back to Tulsa. It turns out one of my directional tires was installed incorrectly — and there were 6 pieces of metal in another… Shoutout to Austin, Jayden, and Chris ✅✅✅🏁🏁🏁✅✅✅

being a college student and paying for college on my own, when things happen its kinda a pain in the butt to find somewhere that doesnt make me pay extremely high. i went over to a couple tire shops in stillwater, and to replace my tire that had a bubble on the side, they planned on charging over 300 (money i did not have). i decided to try out here and immediately when i called the guy who answered was so extremely sweet and helpful! i drove in and they immediately got me in to change my tire. it only took about 30 minutes and cost me 150 for a brand new tire. the best service, so so nice and has extremely reasonable prices. i can’t recommend them enough! expecially for college students!!

This happened yesterday. New tires and alignment
The alignment tech completely disregarded everything I had to say about my suspension. Its a 2021 truck with new parts less than a yr old. The dealership had installed because of failed parts. I was told I needed new upper/lower balljoints,inner/outer tierods,Pittman arm,and a stabilizer arm. I showed the tech were he was wrong an were the problem was. It is my stabilizer it only affects the drag of steering not the alignment. My inner and outer tie rods were,and are tight at the pivot points. My control arm on the right was out of alignment from hitting a huge pot hole and needed to be reset, so I needed an alignment. Not a whole front-end. The way the tech also checked for loose and worn tie rods was totally improper. I realized quickly he gave no care and was not humble enough to obtain knowledge or be corrected from possibly be wrong in his diagnosis. Frustrated was an understatement he's either ignorant,arrogant,scamming for what? Because he's not gaining more in his pockets from Discount Tire!
So I called Mister Muffler. I explain my case to the tech Johnathan he listened with concern and said I have a rack open come on by! He assessed my truck along side me, and his own personal professional diagnosis he was quick to acknowledge it was the stabilizer. He said he had time tob aligne my truck on the spot. Then mentioned he would fix my stabilizer if I wanted him to. That is the response the public should receive from a shop or the Tech. Instead you have techs that dont understand or they want to make the shop money for an Atta-boy /Pride and then dont receive dime extra. If they do its on commission. Im done with Direct Discount Tire. They have a Discounted Attitude and Tech.
With that said not taking from the good guys in the shop who try! I hate that this happens every day to people because they dont know there vehicles so if anyone who know me your welcome to my opinion if you need it. Im not the best im not the worst. But if I can save you a costly and wrong diagnosis. Thats help. Thank you Johnathan at Mister Muffler. And thank to whom mentioned it to me!

This place is awful. Called ahead of time to make sure i could get a wheel balanced because i was passing through from out of town. Kid at the front desk (who didn’t notice me come in because he was playing on his phone) states that we’d be pushing the clock. I’ve done tires, takes 15 min at most to balance a wheel. Take my advice and just go to Oakes, it may be a little ways outside of town, but they’re honest people with honest prices and their customer service is top tier.

Direct Discount has done a great job on my wheel alignment. Joe at the front desk is a great guy that help towards the right direction. Also Sam the tech that done my alignment does great work. Highly recommended!

Took my 2003 Jeep TJ to Direct Discount Tire for an alignment. Not only did the wobble NOT go away, but the alignment was so off that my passenger front tire was visibly bowed in an inch. That kind of negligence loosened my brand new track bar (that I just paid to have installed) and started destroying my tire from uneven wear.
Another shop confirmed the front end was way out of spec. So not only did I waste $150, but I had to fix their mess before it turned into a full-blown disaster.
PSA to anyone with a solid front axle: do NOT trust this place with your alignment. They clearly have no clue what they’re doing, and you’ll pay for it, literally.

If all businesses were this well run the world would be a better place, their always courteous, friendly, patient, and best of all their prices, and after service are excellent, I have shopped with Joe, Garth, and Fred for many, many years, their honest, direct, and take great care of their customers here in Stillwater. I would recommend this tire business to everyone, and I do often! Had a blowout on the turnpike with our camper, they did have the tire but did not have time to put it on due to first come first serve. 2 hour wait…. Went to Goodyear to get it put on.. they put it right on even though they had 2 hour wait. Emergencies should have priorities. Wife was sitting on the turnpike in Rv waiting for the tire.. Thanks for at least making the time to sell the tire..
