About Schwan's Food Company
Schwan's Food Company is a large facility that offers both challenges and conveniences for drivers. The yard can be a bit messy and the place smells, but the staff are friendly and helpful, making check-in and loading smooth and quick. Drivers appreciate the quick service, with many reporting they are loaded or unloaded within a reasonable time after arrival. The security personnel are professional and observant, creating a safe environment. The facility provides overnight parking, which is considered a big plus for drivers. Access can be slightly tricky, as activation sensors require crossing train tracks, though some suggest this could be improved. Overall, despite its appearance, the staff's kindness and efficient operations make it a good place to load or unload, and drivers generally have positive experiences.

Be careful with the very active railroad tracks. You go down Walnut toward the back and the gate is there. Security guy was friendly enough. It was an easy check in. I was in a door and out in under three hours.
